Out of all the PlayStation VR games I own, and I do have a lot, this is the least impressive as in the way of graphics. All my games vary as game blur and this one is the worst. It is a very good game though, if they could only sort out the graphics in game it would be awesome! I know VR is relatively new and in time Im sure this issue will be sorted out.

I love racing games, been playing them for years, going back to the Commodore 64 & Atari 1040 ST. This is the next level for racing games. Im not saying that the PSVR is the best system, im gussing its the worst of the three major systems out there. Even so, this game shows you how a racing game comes to life in VR. Its another dimension. Racing games not designed for VR, seem flat to me now.

Thats the most important thing to remember when reviewing this game, it was converted from the original release to run on VR when it was in its infancy. Visually its clever how when sitting in the drivers seat you can turn your head and see the back seats and rear window and you do get the sense that you are in the vehicle. Unfortunately for me thats where it ends because the dashboard / dials are blurry and the gameplay woeful, its nigh on impossible to have a proper race because you cannot see the corners until its too late and by the time you have braked you are smashing into the barrier. Hopefully there will be some more driving games coming out on the VR that can fully exploit its capabilities because this really is a poor effort.

i tried the normal version of drive club when it came out a few years ago and to be honest i didint really rate it to well. i mean it was ok,just at the time i was getting more in to sim racing games like iracing and project cars, and it didint feel that good with a wheel. But i saw a review of the vr version on YouTube and i thought i would give it a try as the only vr racing games i had was gt sport and dirt rally which are both grate but both have there faults.(gt sport only lets you do 2 laps against the easiest AI in the world,no time trial or multiplayer) out of all my vr racing games this has became my favorite, the single player mode is pretty good and the time trail mode is ok,but the 8 player online mode is cool. so if your looking for a good solid racing game for vr then this is definitely one i would recommend.
