> 24 hourThese look good and are well packaged so I assume they will work well but until we get through hurricane season, I won’t know for sure. I put one in each of my sealed storage totes in my garage. Fingers crossed!

> 24 hourFirst things first: When you order and receive the 400 packet box, youll notice the box is heavy (40-50 lbs?) The packets arrived in perfect condition and were sealed in a large clear bag or two. My solution to the weight issue is open the box and fill gallon size ziplock freezer bags. Then you can recycle the box. Ive tried several brands and sizes go silica gel packets in the past, and we like these the best. For our purposes, the 50 gram packets are the best size, as we live on the very wet North Oregon Coast where the average historical rainfall is 77 inches per year. So, we use dehumidifiers, weatherizing, etc. which helps the most with musty odors, but for anything stored that may be packed in the car or upstairs or in boxes or drawers, we pack these in. Hunting bags, rifle cases, camera bags, laptop bags, extra shoes and purses, boxes of electronics, camping gear, stored out of season clothing, safes, you name it. Anybody rummaging around in here is going to find lots of these! Gone are the days of saving up all the tiny packets found in new shoe boxes, purses, luggage, etc. to store in my jewelry box. (BTW, sterling silver should be stored in bags with silica gel packets to help prevent tarnishing.) If you have ever had to move items into an unheated storage unit, you know what damage can be done in a humid environment and how important these can be. Im downsizing, and when I have to store some items I will just box things up, drop one or a few in each box, and seal the boxes in large, clear garbage bags. Easy peasy. Here is a link to an example of the clear bags: https://www.amazon.com/Plasticplace-Clear-Gallon-Trash-38x58/dp/B01AVIUOU6/ref=sr_1_9?crid=2DWTBT5KVVGWB&keywords=large+clear+heavy+duty+trash+bags&qid=1684924626&sprefix=large+clear+heavy+duty+%2Caps%2C222&sr=8-9 I couldnt believe the bargain price when you order 400! As of this writing it comes to about $0.47 each! I will have enough so that when they need to be recharged in the oven I can drop new ones in when Im gathering up the ones to recharge. BTW, the shipping box states the product is made in Korea, which is fine by me! Ive never had problems with anything made there. The box is well sealed and strapping tape kept it all together. I hope this helps you! Thanks so much to Amazon for this opportunity to review this awesome product!

> 24 hourAmazon shipped the wrong size packets - I had ordered 50g and they sent 500g. It turns out my customers like the 500g for large storage containers, so it was a happy accident. Meanwhile, Dry & Dry was wonderful about the mis-ship, contacting me personally to see if there was something they could do. I will be continuing to order these for our customers, and highly recommend doing business with Dry&Dry. Made in the USA DOES mean something!

> 24 hourI bought this product in order to ensure that the items stored in my fireproof safe were moisture free and not susceptible to mold. If you have a safe of 1.8 cubit feet or in that range, and it is on a concrete floor, I highly recommend this product because cold floors (or any exposure of the safe to moisture) will cause the contents to deteriorate and become unusable. I suggest that the safe (or the storage unit you have for whatever purpose) be placed on a wooden floor, or on wooden slates so that air can circulate around the storage unit and decrease the potential for moisture buildup. Again, this product works- in a larger size it is very much like the tiny ones you find in bottles of vitamins, or minerals, or other products. Stay moisture and save your valuables.
