It’s a really cool device. It’s stupid that the el gato software is not compatible with many different software and relies on plugins from companion to actually be useful. Attaching via plugin programs like companion can be finicky and potentially unstable. Do better el gato.

This is a great item to use when streaming. I went from not being to mute my in game mic to being able to do it. I love this thing!

When I first purchased this, wasnt sure how well it would work out. For those that are building their own smarthome, this is one piece of gear you should look at. Using IFTTT and the webhooks service, you can get the Stream Deck or Stream Deck mini to function as a respectable Smart Home controller. I am creating a series of videos on my social media channels that show how easy it is to do. May end up having to purchase the full size stream deck after all.
