Elgato Stream Deck MK.2 – Studio Controller, 15 macro keys, trigger actions in apps and software like OBS, Twitch, ​YouTube and more, works with Mac and PC

I was debating buying this to upgrade my stream setup, but I wasnt sure because of the price.

This is an amazing piece of kit with a huge amount of potential, but one has to be careful with respect to whether or not it is suitable for your specific case use.

I have the 6 button version of the stream deck (and may upgrade at some point to the 15). I use it with OBS for switching between multiple sources for online presentations. I have a narrow field close up webcam for my face, a wider field webcam for when I need to gesture or demonstrate something, and a retired cell phone mounted on a lamp-style stand as a document camera for focusing on close up work. I can also switch to or overlay Powerpoint slides or even my full screen if there is a question about something that I didnt prepare for. Google for spiffing up online presentations on the cheap to find an article and video on my approach.

I use this to switch shortcuts in vMix while streaming. It’s intuitive and effective. When I’m using 30-50 sources this let’s me easily switch into and out of the key ones I need.

Loggetto è ottimo e rispetta tutte le aspettative riguardo il funzionamento. Unica nota dolente: non è perfettamente silenzioso, fa un sibilo dovuto a qualche componente interna. Ho googlato tanto e ho scoperto di non essere lunico, ho effettuato una sostituzione ma anche laltra unità faceva persino più rumore. Non è invivibile, se avete un pc rumoroso è irrilevante, ma in uno studio silenzioso con un custom build a basso rumore con ventole silenziose è udibile molto chiaramente.

Regalato al mio compagno per Natale, lui lavora nel settore della creazione di contenuti digitali e si sta trovando davvero benissimo ad utilizzarla sia come strumento di lavoro che nel tempo libero quando gioca.

I bought this device for one reason - to have folder shortcuts. Silly? A little. Convenient given my job? Very. However, despite trying 20 different things.... the Open Folder Commands do not save. I will reload or import my setting and it is always different. I tried renaming, looking up tutorials online, closing and restarting the program pretty much everything. Good product but some poor software functionality.
