> 3 dayNice looking box, but theres only a disc and a piece of paper in it. I thought thered be at least some sort of booklet to accompany the software, but no. Also youll need to purchase midi cables or a midi-to-usb adaptor if you want to utilise the interactive parts of the program. They also arent included in the box, but are not expensive to buy.

> 3 dayI really liked this. It has midi connect ability and as you work through the songs, the tutor informs of how you are progressing. Which wrong notes you played, notes you played too fast or too slow. Mind blowing.

> 3 dayWhilst the clever people at Dummies (something of a contradiction!) have provided us with hundreds of books, their software library has always been limited. What youll find in many instances is that their software can operate on numerous levels; as a standalone product, to be combined with printed material, or to offer an alternative experience from a text book.

> 3 dayI havent seen the full benefit of what is advertised. You have to have midi and other things in order to get full use of product.

02-01-2025To try to get the full multi media experience, I loaded the disc onto my Mac laptop, and connected it to the electric piano. But the interactive section - where it is supposed to pick up on what you are playing, still didnt work. So I was left with the music, the audio, and able to follow both through the lessons.

> 3 dayThis is OK- its basically a bunch of clips that you can use to learn various aspects of playing the piano. My daughter was actually learning at the time I ordered and I think it helped a little, but what helped more were the various music books she bought in addition to this. I suppose for someone who had absolutely no background in piano the format would be good- especially for those who like mixing multimedia learning with practical work. It isnt bad- it just wasnt what I had expected!
