> 3 dayBest Type Y Vacuum Bag I have found anywhere. The Hoover brand and previous generic brand I had been using cannot compete with these . For one thing, the dust doesnt float around and end up back in the room. For another, it has a wonderful see-through strip the length of the bag that lets you see how much dust is collected, and not have to guess whether or not it needs replacing. Third, it snaps into position easily and securely. Fourth and completely amazing - no more smell of dust flying around as it clearly was doing its job. Finally, the carpet looked clean. When my supply runs low, these are the bags I will buy again.

Greater than one weekThese bags work ok, but they dont filter as much dust as the genuine Hoover Hepa bags. The Hoover Type Y HEPA Filter Bags specifications say they filter 99.97% of the dust (they let 0.03% through), while the bags sold here have specifications that they filter 99.7% of the dust (they let 0.3% through). That means that according to the manufacturer specifications, these microfiltration bags let 10 times as much dust through as the Hoover Hepa. In using these bags, I do see more dust on the inside of the main filter compartment than I did when I used the genuine Hoover Hepa bags, and my impression is that the Hepa filter is getting dirty faster. I cant say that Ive noticed any difference in performance when Im not looking inside those compartments. So the bottom line is that if you care about Hepa filtration and the Hepa filter, Id think about sticking with the genuine Hoover Hepa bags. If that isnt a concern to you, then these bags will save you a lot of money.

> 3 dayThe bag looks like it is too big for the vaccum, but it is working fine. Actually too much suction.. on certain rugs. I dont use this vaccum for my hardwood floors.

> 3 dayThese bags are great and worked perfect for my Hoover WindTunnel Vacuum (Type Y bag type). The package I received was ** EnviroCare ** . These are excellent bags that look and feel almost exactly like the Hoover bags I was previously using. The only difference is that EnviroCare bags have a seal that can be used once the bag is full to prevent the dust from leaking out during transport to the garbage. The bags themselves performed pretty much the same as the previous bags I had. However, I did notice the Envirocare bags seem just a little bit smaller than the standard Hoover bags (about 0.5 in less length when comparing them unused). While this translates to the bag filling up a little faster than your standard Hoover bag, odds are you are paying much less per bag than using the name brand. OVERALL, the Envirocare bags are exceptional and make a great Generic Alternative to the standard Hoover bags. They work as advertised and will end up saving you some money in the end, while helping to keep your house clean. **NOTE: Make sure you get Envirocare brand when you purchase. As other reviews have pointed out it seems a variety of generics are floating around amongst the venders. You want the Envirocare bags as they pretty much look and FEEL like the Hoover Bags I got with my Vacuum. Some of the cheaper generics out there will not hold up nearly as well, and are often thinner which could lead to the bag bursting.

> 3 dayOriginal purchase & review: Oct 2011 (when product did not match amazon profile) Misleading. Not EnviroCare nor packaged as implied in photo. Quality felt substandard and flimsy - unlike the robust originals. Came as loose unpackaged items from VacuumSupply. Update: Amazon was 5* about this and made good its guarantee. On 19 January 2012, Amazon revised the product photo from EnviroCare to MicroLined. Now its back to Envirocare - What is happening? Upon initial delivery, I fitted one for a testrun - due to its delicate quality I felt I had to be extra cautious that the bag would not tear. To fit it to the hole, one has to perforate the paper covering the hole reinforcement - this tears easily enough. The hole fitting seemed flimsy and clumsy, however one eventually manages to attach it to the hole after some careful fiddling to ensure the bag does not tear prematurely. Survived first testrun - I shall however update this space to see if it stays in place. An old dust allergy has reemerged briefly (2months now)... but this (in hindsight) is more due to the unmodified hepa final filter which leaked from the sides fr the same delivery batch. Update: In mid January 2012, I had to use another one (2nd) of these bags and did some solid vacuuming for 2.5-3 hours in a day - the bag fitted new, held up well (with a new anti bac deodorizer pouch in place). However, the bag would need regular changing say every month or so as otherwise it could start to stink as mine did with the first. I dont remember the original hoover bag (thicker) emitting any smell when used no matter how long it stayed unchanged. For the price, I would upgrade this to 2.5 to 3 stars. If you are buying from overseas, this may not be worth your trouble as shipping cost is exorbitant. If you are a local buyer, then, you just get what you pay for.

> 3 dayGood value for the money, but they are so long they need to be folded over to fit in my Sears canister Type C vacuum cleaner. They are in reality too big for the compartment. That makes closing the lid a challenge and appears to restrict air flow in the bag, in addition to the air flow passing into the first stage filter at the rear of the compartment the bag rests in, possibly reducing the vacuums efficiency.

> 3 dayAmazon did not like my first review of this product (too short and did not directly address the product qualities) and would not publish it so I will try again. Normally I do not get excited about vacuum bags unless they are defective in some way. The ENVIROCARE Hoover WindTunnel Upright Type Y Vacuum Bag worked as advertised, was easy to install, was the right price (not that a lower price wouldnt be acceptable) and was delivered on time in pristine condition. We have purchased this product from ENVIROCARE before (via Amazon) with similar satisfactions. I appreciate the ease of purchase via Amazon. I wonder if this will clear the Amazon editors !!!

> 3 dayThese bags are priced low and seemed like a great buy. The outer plastic bag identifies this product as having been Manufactured for EnviroCare Technologies. Curiously, the Amazon description makes no mention of the clear plastic Dust Window(TM) which extends down the full length of the bag, nor is this window visible in any of the product photos. But some customers have mentioned it in their reviews, and praised it as a worthwhile feature. I think its actually a bad feature, one that would steer me away from buying these bags in the future. The purpose of any vacuum cleaner bag is to trap the dust, hair, etc behind an adequate filtration barrier while restricting suction as little as possible. The attached photo shows how much this feature costs in terms of reducing the bags total filtration area.

> 3 dayBag is fine. It’s a bag. Works like every other bag. The sticker to seal the bag opening upon removal is flimsy and tends to rip when peeling off the backing. Also doesn’t stick and seal well. Oh well, I didn’t buy these for that feature. I bought them because they are cheap. They work fine.
