Ive got my grandmothers old Electrolux vacuum. I believe its one of the 1950s models as it has that distinctive greenish-blue paint scheme I associate with that era. It still works like a champ. Along with the vacuum I ended up with about 20 years worth of extra vacuum bags and it wasnt until just recently that I came down to the end of my supply. The bags Ive been using are definitely vintage and in their original packaging sleeve. I will upload some images to illustrate the comparison of these bags to the originals and a photo of the original packaging as I think some of you would get a kick out of seeing that. These replacement bags are pretty much identical to the originals in design. Only the graphics differ. Ive tried one out and have no complaints as it seems to works just like the originals. Glad I found a source for these because I wouldnt be surprised if my grandmothers old Electrolux lasts another 50 years. BTW, when I was trying to figure out where to buy replacement bags I contacted Electrolux and discovered that Electrolux-branded vacuums of this vintage were produced by an American company named Aerus. Aerus is still in business and still producing a vacuum descendant of this classic. I checked out their web site and their Lux canister models are modern twists of this classic design.

Ripped easily, resulting dust in canister caused a malfunction in our Electrolux- had to take it in for repair. Replaced with genuine electronic and vacuum is working again

These bags are very expensive when purchased in store. Ive previously bought them for about 2$ per bag retail. This purchase has saved me money & now I dont have to try to find vac bags for a 50s Electrolux canister vac in a specialty store.
