I wouldnt give such a low rating, thinking that the mechanical problem was a fluke, but it sounds rather common in the reviews. Also, I felt the company could have responded much more quickly. Problem: I can pull the vacuum but not push it at all. I see that people theorize that it has to do with deep pile carpet but we only have area rugs with the shortest kind of wool or wool-like nap, so I wasnt frightened away from buying it. Unfortunately, we did not open the box until 2 months after our return window closed, because the construction on our house was delayed. I contacted the company to see whether they could exchange or repair it, although I was a little afraid of an exchange. They were slow to respond, but in the end, they sent us a refund, which was quite fair, considering that we were outside of the return window. We are happy with that. It was a handsome unit and not too heavy. Cord length was appropriate.

Well thought out design. Works well on carpet and floors although it struggles to pick up larger items on a hard floor. Not overly loud but not quiet either. I would certainly buy again for the price!

Perfect size for my one bedroom apartment, I use it on my carpet, my kitchen, bathroom and rugs. On carpet it sucks so hard its sometimes hard to push and pull around. Cord is a decent length and cannister is easy to empty.

It definitely has good cleaning power. I have a semi shag carpet. This vacuum is too low and there’s no adjustable Settings. I could not push it. It was stuck to the ground.

The Eureka lightweight vacuum cleaner is the best model I have ever purchased. Easy to clean and use. It is light, so I can easily vacuum my apartment. The housekeeper likes it also. Thank you for creating a vacuum that a 78-year-old woman can readily quickly and efficiently.

Well, it has powerful suction for what I bought it for but the quality is nothing like the high end vacuum cleaner I’ve had for 20 years. I had sandals on so when I was vacuuming up the birds seed my toes were getting pelted with seeds a bit. I have messy parrots and need to vacuum daily. This little vacuum is perfect for that. I go through bags often so not having to use them anymore is a huge plus. Only thing is this vacuum doesn’t flatten out so I can vacuum under the cages. It is plastic too and I don’t believe it’s high impact plastic. Not sure how long it will last. It comes with a year warranty so I shall see. It doesn’t maneuver easily when turning it but I’ll get used to it. The on and off switch is a foot lever. It worked once but when I started to walk away it came back on by itself. Very noisy too. Scared my birds big time. I live in a home under 900 sq. ft. It’s not made for a large home I wouldn’t think. Definitely made for a home without carpet.

great suction, can be used on different surfaces, made well, durable, sturdy, great for people with pets, multi-functional, great vacuum, the only thing it is missing is the different levels, great value for the money

I wish Id had this years ago. Ive had some expensive lame vacuums over the years and not one of them compares to this. The suction is incredible....wants to lift the rug off the floor....picks up everything! Its light, easy to operate, noisy, but not as bad as my other vacuums. I like that I can store the brush and other nozzle thing on the vacuum. I have nothing negative to say....its exceptional.

Got this for my mom. She loves it. If youre looking for a lightweight vacuum with a lot of power, this is your baby. It doesnt have a bazillion bells and whistles but it works fine and is easy to empty. I had to get rid of the last vacuum we got Mom because getting the collection tank out was next to impossible. Thumbs up.
