> 3 dayThis is the first time I have used a modular power supply. I feel like a lot of space is wasted with all of the connectors that go on the outside of the power supply. I have a fairly basic desktop PC and I still required all but one of the modular cables to be installed, so theres really not any sort of saving that comes from being judicious about which cables to connect. Also the cables seem excessively long and thick. I ended up filling up a drive pay with loops of unused cable to maintain air flow around the motherboard. With my previous ~2012 power supply I could easily swap it in and out, but with this one I have to disassemble a lot of the case and move some drives to the side so that I can slide the power supply in. My previous power supply was 300 w and fairly low end, and I upgraded to this one because I needed to power a GPU. This power supply works well for that, but in hindsight I dont know that I would have paid extra for a more silent fan in the power supply, because my existing CPU fan, case fan, and GPU fans are all audible and a bit of noise from the power supply probably would not have been noticeable.

> 3 dayI have used EVGA PSU for the past 5 years: G2 & G3 series. Figures, it was time to upgrade my psu, so i purchased G5 750. First issue was that it arrived with no SATA cables, thats just unacceptable unless it was meant to not have one.

> 3 dayIronically enough, a platinum certified PSU from a reputable brand I had for only two months prior to getting this one crapped out on me randomly. I was able to return it for a refund and decided on this one from EVGA, namely wanting to maintain at LEAST gold efficiency, modularity, and 850 watts. Ive been using this for a couple weeks now, and its been great. The PSU is already pretty quiet while running, but using Eco mode when the PC isnt being actively used shuts the fan off entirely at low enough temps. The jet black sleeved cables feel high quality and balance flexibility with some rigidity. The PSU being fully modular is great and saves space in my rig, presently only needing the standard CPU and 24 pin cables along with the PCIE for my gpu and only 2 of the SATA cables. Combine all of these features with the gold level power efficiency and EVGAs amazing 10 year warranty, and youve got a keeper. Ill update this review if anything changes or goes south, but in the meantime Im very happy with this purchase.

> 3 dayI love that you only have to have the wires you need and not a ton of stuff to hide in the back

> 3 dayBest PSU i have ever purchased, very well built with the best components money can buy. Easier for cable management since is full modular, you only plug the cables that you need. You can not even hear that huge fan when is spinning. Very future proof, more then enough power to run even the latest GPUs and CPUs. Surprisingly produced very low temperatures so far, i managed to get even better overclocks with it since it is much more efficient then my old octopus heating up the room. Evga is the only brand i trust on PSUs and GPUs aside of Asus for high spec system builds. Overall excellent as always, expected nothing less from Evga.

Greater than one weekSmall but powerful. Didnt fry my system like a PGM 850 would have haha. I dont hear the fan spinning on it when under a 900W load. Its really quiet. PSU cultists also have a PSU list and this is at the top for 1000w. If you need a psu I would strongly recommend this one.

Greater than one weekEVGA makes among the best power supplies usually. Not all of them but most. EVGA does provide a good warranty for their products once you register the product on the EVGA website.

> 3 dayI love these fully modular power supply units. I am loyal to the EVGA brand as I have a 11 year old build that is still running today on an EVGA power supply. This PSU installed easily in a Fractal Meshify C case. The PSU being short in length left plenty of room for cable management.
