> 3 dayAfter a lifetime with my ThermalTake Toughpower 750w semi, I finally made the decision to swap out the last part remaining in my new build all in the name of better wire management and go fully modular. The TT was great but the wires were not braided. That supply had been through 3 builds, all small form factor, and the tight squeezes ripped the wiring. I was able to safely repair it but boy would it have been a dream to have the g5 years back. Now I have a much larger case but wires were still not as flexible as Id like them to be. I figured I could drop 100watts and still be fine, grabbed this after getting a refurbished g3 that was DOA and I cant find anything to complain about with the g5. Noise level is about equal to the TT, noticeable but very quiet. Nothing Im very concerned with. The blue/green fan cover is beautiful, its a MUST HAVE for anyone who has a case that will show it off. Mine unfortunately does not. The green light in the back is equally as stunning. Unfortunately that too will likely never be seen with my current build. And also comes with velcro ties which was a huge help in cable mgmt. Im not sure what else to say, have been running this about a week and no issues. Will update if things go south but for the moment very happy!

20-12-2024Upgraded from a cx750m and gotta say the surface view is night and day. Obviously going fully modular vs semi is gonna be a better experience overall but I know close to nothing about building a pc and swapping out the psu’s was not too bad. The cords feel and look great and the straps are a nice bonus for cable mgmt.

> 3 dayThis power supply unit is super easy to install. What I loved most about it is that the cables that are provided really help you with cable management. With the wires being thick and having good texture, it makes it easy to handle and manuever through the tower. Cable management hasnt been easier. Bang for you buck!

> 3 dayIve got the G6 1000w version. If youre researching about psus, this should be your choice. Ive done the research, and most tech forums list this as the highest quality material psu out there. Obviously time will tell if thats true, since you can always get a bad batch. I dont have proper electrical tools to test its capabilities. Im using my PC as my as testing ground, and so far its great.

> 3 dayThis power supply is confirmed to be compatible with Alienware Aurora R7. My EVGA 850w B5 PSU failed within a year so I decided to go with a gold psu. So far it is still good.
