Ignore the reviewers that say its loud. I just finished a build for a client, and as soon as I fired it up the only way I know it was on was from the RGB lighting. The EVGA G5 Supernova 1000Watt psu is wonderful. Ignire the negativity. EVGA is a solid company.

I have yet to hear my power supply at all so its super quiet with its fan and all, it comes with great wires and easy to install with every single wire being labeled appropriately. you can tell the makers took their time to make it great. NOT cheap quality at all. Durable and meant to last. Pics of the installed power supply after PC was built, and the wires connected to the CPU and Graphics card. Good Quality. only complaint, CPU wire is not long enough to tuck behind the mother board appropriately .

This psu has a lot of versatility. Fits great in my case and looks good. Great price. ( on sale )

This is the best Modular Power Supply at the lowest price that you would want to power your desktop. This Power Supply is totally capable of running all of your internal components at their maximum efficiency. This was definitely the best purchase I could have made.

Could not pass up on this classic fully modular power supply that has a 10 year warranty. Picked it up used on Amazon Warehouse for $90 bucks, works flawlessly. Bought 2 of the G5s and a P2 in the last 2 years and they all perform as expected.

evga, what more do you need to know?

so i ended up getting both this PSU and the beQuiet straight power 1000w 80+ platinum. whats odd is that with this PSU, the default ram OC settings would constantly fail, so much so that i had to manually adjust the SoC to 1.1volts instead of Auto/1v, and manually set the DRAM voltage to 1.36v, whereas the ram should be at 1.35v. these adjustments stabilized my GPU-less setup.

Power supply is working fine but Ive sent my rebate request almost 2 months ago now and Ive havent heard or got anything yet.
