I dont hear it right now, havent really pushed the PC to render levels. Its running in ECO mode right now.

  • Ummm, what?

Be aware the fan will make a little chirping noise upon start up which EVGA states is due to the fluid dynamic bearings and I even ordered a replacement to be sure and it sounded the same. Otherwise the unit is dead silent even when not in eco mode and the flat cabling is awesome and looks clean.

Needed a new psu and got this one delivered today. Installed it and it was working fine for a few hours and then it just went out while I was using my computer. My previous PSU was also from EVGA and that one had no problems at all so maybe this one is just a bad one. will definitely exchange or ask for a refund

If anyone is looking at Amazon reviews to determine whether a PSU is a good unit or not, youre doing it wrong. You need to rely on tech sites that hook up these power supplies to various testing machines to measure stats like ripple, hold up time, and several other key factors. Ill save you the trip now to let you know that this is a solid unit. Most sites are going to give this unit a perfect score aside from the cables may be a little stiff. Indeed they are, but it isnt actually that bad. Id rather have my cables a little stiff than to have a limp and pathetic cord that I can tell has no protection. If you are using a single graphics card, and a CPU that isnt an i9/Ryzen 9 with a hefty overclock, this unit is too much for you. You can save a few $ and get a 450W/550W unit. I picked this unit specifically for my 3900x and hopefully soon to be 3080Ti/3080. My motherboard has an additional EPS plug, which this unit provides, and is fully modular. One final note, please make sure you check what each plug is supposed to run to, and that you plug it in the correct spot in the PSU.

Fully moduler with black cables and 80 plus gold rated. Whats not to love?

The product is a very solid power supply with a more quiet noise and solid cable management. The additional cords allowed for easier cable management and the braided black cables, which ensured the cables didnt cause any of the visual interest in my case to be overwhelmed by the unsightly coloration of grey or other cable colors.
