I use these one 14 gauge 1.5”x1.5” square tube and it fits PERFECTLY! I highly recommend these

Be sure you buy the correct cap. Knowing the outside dimension is important, but you must also know the inside dimension of the square rubing you are using as well. This is because there are two inside cap sizes. One cap size is for heavy thick walled steel tubing, and the other inside size is for lightweight thin walled square tubing. Once you know that, you are good to go.

I build furniture with steel bases often and I used to cap the bottoms with steel until I found these. They work perfectly as described. I will be purchasing more in the future.

Product was ok. Fit a little looser than expected but will work. Problem is it was suppose to have 20 piece and I only received 17 in the package. Don’t want to return, just want the remaking 3 shipped to me. I will change my rating once I see if they ship the rest of what I paid for
