I wanted something small to wash my face with in the evenings. I know these are advertised for makeup but they work really well as face wash sponges.

Better than the cottons ones and better than the poly fabric versions that come with make-up compacts. Washes up nicely and great value for the money!

These triangle puffs are amazing, they are so helpful when you’re doing your make up (baking) You can also take them with you when you go out to help with oily spots or creasing

I have tried dozens and dozens of these different triangle puffs at this point, and the main differences I’ve noticed are slight variations in shape/amount of point of the triangle, number of puffs in the package, and the colors. I’ve used a very high quality washable circular velour puff from a well regarded brand for many years, but had recently seen the triangle shaped puffs and realized they’d solve the one issue all circular puffs have in reaching small areas of the face like around the nose and eyes. The solution with a round puff is folding two of the sides inwards to create a corner. Triangle puffs are already built the appropriate triangle shape. The listing says to use them for foundation or as a wet and dry beauty tool, but personally I would not use for foundation application or other wet applications. Getting them wet for washing is fine though. Size wise, this brand of puffs are slightly wider at the base and less pointy at the tip than some of the other triangle puffs I’ve tried. In comparison with the traditional round version, these puffs are slightly smaller than my circular puff if you cut off two of the round edges, or roughly a little smaller than the size my round puff becomes when I fold those those sides inwards. This is fantastic, because instead of these puffs *only* being good for the eye and nose area, the rounded portion of the puff is still large enough to be used for the whole face. While the two different colors that come in this pack are both light (white and nude) you should still be able to confirm the even distribution of powder across the surface of the puffs. The darker your powder color, the easier it will be, so this color pack is an excellent choice for all but white and porcelain colored powders. The more evenly you spread your loose powder across the surface of the puff, the more evenly it will apply to your face regardless of what brand or style puff you use. Depending on what color powder you are using, you can select the color of powder that contrasts the best, but with these two colors, all different basic colors of powder will contrast well with one of the puffs. The best way to use any velour puff is with patting or pressing motions. Avoid using rubbing motions on the face, as the whole point of applying powder is to set liquid product in place. They say to cleanse after each use, but personally I feel like once a week should be plenty often enough for personal use. If working as a makeup artist, then clearly one puff use per person; you can even give it to them afterwards. Because you receive so many in this package, you can either use each once and then wash them for the next time, or use them for a week before washing and then share the extras with family or friends. To wash, I put mine in a very small lingerie bag and wash it along with any load of clothes that couldn’t get ruined by powder like a load of towels. Then I reshape a little and let it air dry overnight. In the meantime, the bag has 11 others that can be used while your dirty puff takes its trip to laundrytown. Happy powdering!

These powder puffs come packaged in a single plastic case, which makes it easy to keep them clean while in storage. The puffs are very soft, and having both a pointed and rounded side makes it very versatile. The attached ribbon strap isnt very helpful if I only put one finger through it, but works perfectly if I use it with 2 fingers. Easy to clean and hold up well, and do not shed.

This is a very generous quantity of velour powder puffs for the price. I like that they come in two contrasting colors so you can choose the one that has the most contrast with your makeup to see that it’s evenly distributed on the puff. They’re soft, comfortable, and easy to use. Some of the ribbon handles are not sewn on super securely and are fraying at the edges, but they’re still totally usable.

Love these powder puffs! They are nice and soft to the touch. The puffs themselves seem to be made from a nice quality material. I am able to use them for both liquid foundations and powders. They clean and dry pretty nicely as well so ill be getting multiple uses out of these. Great value for the price and highly recommend!

There is a little ribbon to slip your fingers through to help hold the sponge in place. The first time I used these was to apply my powder, starting under my eyes, to set my concealer in place. Unfortunately, I used the corner piece, where it comes to a peak, and the seam is a little rough when using under the eyes, so I wouldnt recommend using that part to apply powder or makeup there, but the rest of the puff is soft and they come in nice colors. If you touch that area with your finger it doesnt feel rough, but your eyelid may notice the difference. Other than that, theyre cute, come in a nice plastic box to keep them clean and organized, and would make a nice addition to your makeup collection.
