It works great and the ingredients aren’t scary. The fragrance is a little strong but I can deal. (I buy unscented everything.) I’ve got a 20+ year old dishwasher in my apartment and it requires one of these every couple months. Absolutely recommend!

I dont even really remember how effective this was, I guess it was fine-- but the chemical scent is INCREDIBLY strong, very perfume-y and gave me a headache. And the scent took *forever* to diminish. My kitchen smelled just as strong for wash after wash. If you love your house to smell like cleaning chemicals, go for it, I know some people do actually like that; but for me, never again.

A bottle a month keeps the repairman away.

Ive used this product many times always using the hottest and pots and pans cycle on the dishwasher. Afterwards there is still a film I need to clean off the inside of the door which is silver metal. Ive also stopped using their pods and liquid soap for better quality.

Now granted, I live in a rental so Im not sure what this dishwasher smelled like new, but Ive been to big box stores and it smelled similar to those machines. It was super simple to use the cleaner with the instructions on the bottle. You should definitely still clean out the filter on the dishwasher to make sure its fully clean. Thats it...follow the instructions and your dishwasher wont smell terrible.

I read the reviews ahead of time so I knew to purge the cold water out of my lines ahead of time by running my sink in order to have no issues with the wax cap melting. It cleaned my dishwasher wonderfully and made it smell even better. I would buy again

I love this little cleanser and it scrubs my dishwasher very well. Within a wash cycle, the heating coil, water stains and other impurities are gone effectively. So kudos to the functionality. However, it left a very strong chemical scent which I dislike. I use free and clear gels for my regular wash because I really hate the strong scent left from the wash pods. If there is a way to imporve such annoying fact, definitely a feature request to the maker. Overall, I recommend this product and would still use it. After all, I could run another quick rinse cycle to get rid of the smell quickly (with some water waste....)

Tried to run dishwasher on hottest water with dish washer detergent and did not work well enough. I bought this dishwasher cleaner and it does clean almost all the dirt accumulated at the filter but do not expect perfection.

Might need to perform more cleanings. Product seems to leave a noticeable film on dishes that can be felt when dishes are removed from dishwasher.

Dishwasher 1 1/2 years old. Never cleaned Looks like new now Have recommended it to son with new dishwasher but HARD water
