Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Baby Learning Toy Smart Stages Piggy Bank With Music & Phrases For Infant To Toddler Ages 6+ Months

I have been searching g for a simple toy for my 15 month old. Criteria: Something that would entertain him, provide practice with fine motor skills, and would grow with him developmentally. My son is rough with everything, so another requirement was durability. Things that I wanted to avoid: Anything that was too complicated, came with too many pieces, took up too much space, or required a lot of assistance. Did this toy meet all of my demands? For the most part, yes. Pros: Simple, helps develop fine motor skills, is easy to use, doesnt require additional storage for the coins (they are stored inside of the piggy), talks (counts, sings songs, says phrases), has 2 levels that grow with your baby as they develop, is cute, and doesnt require much assistance. Cons: Tips over easily, slides away while my son attempted to put the coins in the slot. There is no volume control (that Im aware of). Its a great toy, worth the price, and is cute. I would rate this toy an 8 out of 10. :) At first, he wasnt able to put the coins in the slot. After about 5 or 6 minutes of trying (I demonstrated and assisted him a few times) he figured it out.

My son had one of these when he was 1 and played with it until 3. Ive bought one for every kid in my family and friends for their first birthday since. Its great for gross motor and counting and just fun. You can put things in, taken them out, learn cause and effect from inserting the coins and hearing the sounds, and the best part- it can take a beating. I HIGHLY recommend for anyone looking for presents for 1 or 2 yr old.

I got this for my 3 yr old. He goes to therapy. They had this there and he enjoyed playing with it. I ended up buying this for him. He was super happy when we put it out of the box. He just loves it.

I bought this for my daughters second birthday and she loves this toy! She enjoys putting the coins into the piggy bank- and it’s helping her learn to count, as well as her colors. It’s a cute toy! The only thing that I was thrown off by is that the toy didn’t come in a box that I could wrap for her gift. The toy came inside a plastic bag inside the Amazon box. I just kept it in the Amazon box and wrapped it that way and gave it to her - I guess it saves trees/cardboard (so it was a good thing).

Love the concept but the volume is too low and can hardly hear it. Defeats the purpose of it even talking if you cant hear.
