Fiskars 95287097J Rotary Cutter Replacement Blades, 45mm , 5 Pack

Incredibly disappointed in this pack, which is supposedly from Fiskers. They were not sharp out the pack, and were covered in grease. Needed some blades during the pandemic shutdown (all that sewing going on) so I ordered this. Huge regret. I wish I could get my money back.

The blades are fine and very sharp. But all five blades are stuck together with an oily substance and they are difficult to pry apart safely. I managed to separate one and put it in my Fiskar cutter but it wasnt cutting properly. I discovered that I actually had two of them stuck together. Trying to separate them without cutting myself took awhile. It would be better if they had separators between the blades in the package. Otherwise they work well.

Fiskars makes great blades that stay sharp a long time. They are generally more affordable than OLFA but with the same quality. I like the cases as it g ives me a bit more safety than blades that come in just the cardboard and plastic packaging. Those blades are SHARP.

I used to think the Olfa blades were the only way to go. But for price and function I now buy Fiskars only.

the one thing you need to be aware of is --- these are VERY sharp. Be extra careful when changing the blades on your rotary cutters.

Have been ordering these blades for years. Had them on autoship. Our last shipment was 2 packages of totally generic blades, with a barcode and sticker that said Fiskars. Fiskars is a big enough company that they obviously well brand their product. There is no way this is a Fiskars brand item that I received. Too bad its too late to return these now. Didnt pay attention since I had plenty on hand when these came in.

I have the Fiskars 45mm Contour Rotery Cutter which I use all the time. I needed to replace the blade and purchased this 5 pack. The blades were super easy to switch out and just as fantastic as the original blade. The baldes are super sharp and cut thru fabric with ease, even multiple layers. Both the Rotery Cutter and these blades are highly recommended!

I had my rotary cutter for about 3 years before I felt like I needed to change the blade. When I did I didnt feel like these were superbly sharp. Im not sure if I am not applying enough pressure or what but they work.
