> 3 dayim brand new to sewing and had originally purchased an all metal pair of scissors from amazon, but they were really panful to use. i thought all metal would be better, but i was wrong. after speaking with other seamstresses, i was told to get a softer handled pair. i found these also on amazon and so far so good. they cut fabric easily and dont hurt my hand.

> 3 dayThese are good scissors and are indeed a true left-handed design! They are comfortable, cut well and affordable. Looks like they can be taken apart, sharpened and adjusted too. The only critiques I have, is that it would be nice if the handle was a little more padded, and it feels a bit fragile. Hope they last. Theyre really nice scissors. Ill use them gently, for cutting paper or fabric only.

> 3 dayThe fiskars I received for my wedding shower broke after 36 years. I replaced them 3 times with generic sizzors, disappointed every time! I bought myself the original, lefties for my husband, and the 3pk for the junk drawer. Theyll last the rest of my lifetime!

> 3 dayThese are just what I needed. The long blade is sharp, the handle is comfortable, and the cuts are very clean. Excellent scissors.

> 3 dayLet me start by saying this: I am a right-handed person. What does a rightie need leftie scissors for? Well, maybe Im weird (probably). Actually, it comes from taping up lots of boxes at work--I wanted the tape in my good hand, and the left hand free to position the ends and cut, and trying to use standard scissors with my left was a nightmare (they just wouldnt cut even if I went into all sorts of weird contortions trying to get the shearing force angle right). So I got leftie scissors and theyre engineered perfectly (its like a dream). Unlike the lousy scissors I was using before, these are put together well enough that you can even cut with your right hand (although the handles arent molded for that, so its not too comfortable--I bring it up to point out that theyre designed well).
