> 24 hourI’m using this around a farm for general work to pull thing out and around. Worked great to remove some fence post using a tractor. One side has a smaller hook that slips into a chain link, while the other end is a larger hook.

> 24 hourWhat can I say, a chain is a chain. It is sturdy and I especially like the slip hook on one end thus allowing me to pull logs and limbs without losing them because I couldn’t get the chain wrapped tightly enough on loose limbs and such. I have a large area of trees behind the house, and there is always deadfall and lightening got a few of them so it seems that I’m always cleaning up back there. The slip hook makes it a much easier job to gather up limps. The 5/16 inch chain is quite suited for the task.

> 24 hourThis is actually a really nice well built chain. It comes zinc plated and isnt covered in oil when you get it. Had it hooked up to a 6500lb tractor gave it a couple jerks. The bush refused to come out... But the chain did excellent. The slip hook grabbed a hold tight with zero issues. Gonna buy a couple more of these as there super handy.

> 24 hourThis is heavy duty 14 foot long chain and best of all it has a slip hook on one end so it can cinch up on a log good and tight when pulling it behind your tractor. This chain can also be used to secure loads with a binder as a G80 grade chain is very heavy duty.

> 24 hourI acquired this chain to use with my tractor for pulling fallen trees out of the woods. It is a good length for that work and the right strength. It is handy with the grab hook on one end and the slip hook on the other end. Contrary to the description, the chain is not coated in oil (which I was glad for). A good value.

> 24 hourThe packaging is good, and nothing arrived damaged. The product is exactly what it says. This is one heavy duty log chain. I have been using it to drag lodgepole pine around by property, and it has held up to all of the abuse I have given it. What I appreciate the most about this chain is that it wasn’t treated with a bunch of weird stuff and I didn’t have to waste any time washing a bunch of goo off of it. This is a quality product, and it does the job right out of the box.

> 24 hourNice heavy duty 14 chain with a slip hook on one end and a grab hook on the other. It is coated in zinc chromate (the yellow color) and that should protect it from the elements for a long, long time. The hooks are held on with pins and cotter pins, One of the hooks on mine had a cotter pin that was partially coated in zinc chromate and the other cotter pin had no coating on it. So, I will keep an eye on them and should they corrode, just replace the cotter pin if necessary.

> 24 hourItem received quickly following order date. First impression was the chain looks and feels to be heavy duty. This 14 footer rated for 4900 lbs is perfect for dragging tree trunks out of the woods after felling. I cant always get my trailer and/or log splitter in to the area of some of the trees I cut for firewood. This 14 heavy duty chain is perfect for dragging the trunks/big limbs out with my 4 wheeler! This chain saves me a lot of time and physical labor and is a great investment at a $43 price point!
