> 24 hourIt is a Generac part, came with the wiring harness, should have been a piece of cake to install, but where it would have plugged in was taken by other wiring that we didnt know what was for - it wasnt the battery heater mat wiring, we knew what that was. The killer was couldnt figure out how to release the wires in the terminal block - there must be some trick to it that we couldnt figure out. Ended up with a kludge - tapping into the mystery power wire to power this oil filter heater. Waiting for cold weather to see if it works as advertised.

> 24 hourthe wiring harness that came in the so called kit is about 6 to 8 inches long not even close to where the harness has to go to plug into to make it work !! Had to go to a generator parts store to purchase another harness to make it work dont waste your money on this so called kit !!

> 24 hourEasy to install and worked fine for 8 days.....until the generator on a Exercise Now failed to start. Click Click Error RPM sensor E1505. Oil filter was warm as expected I removed heater and unplugged battery warmer too. Then cleared error code and did a manual start. Then put unit in auto and pushed GFI test on main transfer panel breaker generator started and transferred power ( ran 10 minutes ) as it should. Reset breaker and closed it up. Ran two scheduled test fine....Possible loose wire connections on sensors above oil filter to the right. Wife is being a typical woman Not understanding and blaming me....WTF?
