Sometimes when you buy gear that is sport specific it’s a huge waste of money and is not necessary. This bag is not one of those cases. The sweaty gi pouch is genius. I recommend the yellow lined version due to it being easier to see inside. Great bag, highly recommend.

This bag exceeded my expectations, in that it is roomy and has special features (a section for “wet” or dirty Jiu Jitsu Gis) on one end and a zip up side that has a mesh pocket for holding anything, like my phone or flip flops (in a bag). I used the front zip pocket along the front side (with mesh pocket) for my wallet, keys, first aid pouch, lip balm, comb, etc. It was easy to access and better than previous bags in which items would fall to the bottom and become hard to retrieve since the pockets were too deep or nonexistent. The center area of the bag is very roomy, and it was easily able to hold two or more! Gis, a towel, spats & rash guard. I usually brought one Gi, but I could fit much more. The style is very cool and subtle (I own the black duffle), which I love. Best of all, it is strong but super lightweight. I also own the black Gold BJJ backpack, which I always loved and did not think that I could switch, since I was not sure if this bag would be too big or heavy. I still love the backpack as it is lightweight and perfect for a Gi, but I used this bag much more and really appreciated its roominess. Since it was so lightweight, it was easy to carry over one shoulder. Often, it was lightly packed so it was even better and it didn’t look too big. I highly recommend both this bag and the backpack. After using other brands’ bag, I will not switch from either of these! Some bags are enormous and heavy and they look like one is going on a backcountry trek. This bag is also easy to wash, as well. Very cool and very practical! I have been using Gold BJJ Submission Soap for years (and will not stop!), and I decided to try their other products. Excellent customer service, as well.

My son loves this bag and uses it every week for bjj. Holds his gi and all his other gear, plus the wet pocket for after.

Well packaged product and delivered in a nice, heavy box. The sweaty Gi pocket is great. Also works well for dirty/smelly skids-sandals. Product has nice large zippers which are nice, especially after training when you have tired fingers. I like the color contrast of materials which make finding your items easier. The bottom of the bag is padded which protects your items. I like the internal zippered pouch pocket which is great for keys, phone, etc. I like the dual handles plus the large should strap when the bag is fully loaded. for One month training for $1 is a nice bonus!. I appreciate the no frills 1-year guarantee. I also appreciate this product is made in the U.S.! I would recommend this training bag.

For this price and description I thought perhaps the bag I was ordering would be a bit too large, but purchase anyway. When received, I was taken back by the smaller size, then what appeared in the description and the other reviews. Obviously will need to return it for a larger bag.

We bought this for our daughter for Christmas to hold all of her Jiu Jitsu gear. Since Covid has happened, her Jiu Jitsu gym has closed. She is now heavily involved, no pun intended, in powerlifting and LOVES this bag! She says it keeps all of her gear, clothes, a prepped meal and water bottles in one place. She said that she wonders why it took her so long to agree to a special gear bag. Super sturdy and very well designed. She is tough on her stuff, so if it can survive our daughter, it can handle anything!

Got this for my kids jiu jitsu class. Looked small up in delivery. Opened up and started packing. Everything fits with more than enough room. Sparring gear, books, Gi, etc.. Great bag.

Lets you compartmentalize dirty and clean gear. That alone is worth $. Also, the dirty pocket can be pulled outwards of the bag, letting the whole dirty pocket air out when it is not in use. Not the sturdiest bag in the world, the zippers could use A LOT of improvement, but for the purpose, and the fact that there arent other bags like this that exist in the world of BJJ/martial arts, this is a WIN.
