> 3 dayPurchased the monitor to go with my security camera system. I have no complaints about the quality of the picture. The stand is a little wobbly but it’s not a deal breaker. I it’s perfect for what I want to use it for

> 3 dayI bought this monitor for my 2021 MacBook air as external monitor. It had been working great so far and I like how sharp the picture looks. After setting it up at 75hz, the overall using experience had definitely been improved compared with a regular 60hz monitor. This monitor is really bright with wide view angle. I really like the fact thats its equipped with VESA mount and it has super narrow bezel. Last but least, it does have integrated speaker! What a surprise as most of the monitors on the market do not offer this feature. This speaker is not the best to play music, but its definitely a great speaker for conference call and it saves tons of space compared with placing a separate speaker on the desk. Overall, I think this is a great 1080P monitor that does the job and wont break my bank.

19-12-2024i am a business person, that means I likethings to move along rapidly with as much brevity as possible. This GreBear 24 FHD 1080p 75hz Monitors followed my criteria to the fullest measure From the time I slit the Amazon tape on the outer box till the time that I plugged it into the HDMI port on my Mini PC less than ten minutes had elapsed. Everything fit together without a hitch. I particularly liked the way in which the METAL parts of the stand locked into place. Very stable mounting. The brightness and contrast on the monitor screen is something you will notice right away, I actually used the easy to adjust controls on the back of the monitor frame to reduce the brightness to 50%. These controls are very easy to set. I like it because you can get at them. Controls on either the left or right frame at the front bottom are not a good deal because they are hard to see. Obstructions such as a sound bar must be moved. Even then it is a bit awkward. In the case of this BreatBear it is a very easy to reach and so simple. You dont need a manual. The power supply is an external DC adapter. . The monitor with 75hz picture has excellent non flicker stability. (Please see the HD image from Olympus camera, which is a view of the GreatBear screen. The built in speakers sound like all built in monitor speakers....terrible but in a pinch they are nice to have. To sum it up, this is a good 24 monitor. Comes in an attractive box that is certainly suitable when gift wrapped to delight a student, children at home or for your own home office. Good instruction book, good parts. brilliant picture, super contrast ratio. The refresh rate of 75hz means that the monitor can reproduce upwards to a maximum of seventy five frames per second. It will do your favorite action movies but for use in gaming.....but hold on there. This is not a gaming monitor it is a 75hz business monitor. That means that if your business figures are moving fast, up we hope, you will see fewer artifacts and politicians. (:-)))))))) Priced just right to command respect for Value in a really decent low cost monitor. I am giving this GreatBear a hug with FIVE STARS!

Greater than one weekThe monitor is of decent quality and if you put it next to a high end monitor it looks pretty sub par. The blacks are not very deep when the screen is turned on and the color vibrancy just is not there. But if you are not doing anything involving photos or editing or gaming, this is perfectly decent for normal office work or basic internet viewing.

> 3 dayI wanted a 2nd monitor to run dual monitor. This Grebear Monitor is a ok monitor. It feel cheaply made but it does have a good picture. The reason i gave it 3 stars is becuase there something white jammed between the screen and the housing of the monitor. If you want a decent monitor on a budget then i would recommend this one. Update: Gobear had reach out to me to figure out the best solution to remedy the issue. They ended offering me a replacement monitor and allowing me to keep the first one as well. The rep that reach out to me was polite and understanding. I updated this to 5 stars because they took the effort to reach out and fix the issue.

> 3 dayVery inexpensive made monitor. DC power supply is used externally. There is ONLY 1 HDMI connection and 1 old style VGA video input. I would have loved to have seen a DVI instead of the VGA input a display port would have been nice also. I ended up using a display to HDMI adapter and all is good. In all fairness for the price you cant go wrong. Very simple monitor took just about 2 min. to hook up and get going. NOW...The box mine came in was NOT taped shut and the Styrofoam clam shell inside was not taped either so had to catch the monitor in the air as it fell out. Nice save I know!!:>)))

> 3 dayFor the price, you cant possibly expect to use this monitor for serious gaming or professional creativity. The 75Hz refresh rate is too low for anything more than a casual gamer and the color accuracy, while subjectively quite good, will be nowhere near the standards of a professional graphic artist. With that said, this is a PERFECT monitor for business use or the family computer. Its bright, reasonably large, has a broad view angle, its easy to connect and use, theres a VESA mount, the bezel is tiny... I could go on and on. They basically included everything a normal user would want, without the expensive bells and whistles that a more serious user would demand. It even has speakers! Theyre terrible speakers, but they work. Outside of niche use cases, this is a competent, complete, and feature-rich monitor at an exceptional price.

> 3 dayFor working with text or other business applications, I really like this monitor. It has a VA panel and heir black levels just cannot be beat and I have always felt that they have a bit warmer/softer color reproduction that is easier on the eyes. Viewing angle is also quite good on this panel. Perhaps not as good as an IPS panel, but close enough that no one would ever complain about it (or likely ever even notice the difference). The built-in stand is functional but quite basic and not the sturdiest I have seen, but it works. It is also removable and there are also 4 standard VESA mounting holes on the back, so you can always wall or arm mount it. I also like that the ports (VGA, HDMI) are angled straight down, which means you actually can comfortably wall mount it without the ports interfering. The power adapter is an external wall transformer rather than built in, which makes for a thinner, cooler running panel and also means that it can be easily replaced (both of which should help the longevity of the monitor). The only real major negative with the monitor is the speakers. Even for built-in monitor speakers, the sound quality on these is just bad. If you were really desperate for speakers to use for video conferencing, they might work, but that is about all they would be good for. That said, most monitors these days dont even come with speakers at all, especially at this price point, so I am just sort of choosing to ignore that this one has them and not marking down the review because of it. The only other minor issue I have is that the power LED is on the back, but that is pretty trivial. All things considered though, the price is excellent and so is the image quality, so personally I think this monitor is a really good deal.

> 3 dayToday there are more no-name brand monitors than ever on Amazon. I havent heard of GreBear name before, but turns out, its quite popular with Amazon as its one of the cheapest gaming monitors. This monitor requires almost no effort to set it up, - simply take it out of the box and plug it in to your HDMI port. The only issue is that the d.c. power adapter is large and produces low frequency audible noise so if you prefer to work in a complete solitude (no headphones), that noise could agitate you. Its not one of those white (random) noises that help you fell asleep but rather a very distinct, single tone frequency noise which is often associated with cheap a.c. to d.c. wall adapters. Another downside is that the resolution of this monitor is quite poor for its size because you might need higher than 1920x1080p for crisp images and sharp texts. The refresh rate of 75Hz is ok for most applications but definitely not sufficient for expensive graphics cards (though you probably wont be buying a no-name brand if you have powerful graphics card). Overall, in this price range the monitor does its job, and its an excellent choice for an average daily PC use.
