Griots Garage B140P BOSS Finishing Sealant 16oz

> 3 dayThis is not easy to remove as some reviews say. Doesn’t seem to head up much, not sure about the protection then and can’t speak to longevity.

Greater than one weekI finally got to use this sealant after sitting for one year in my garage shelf. Prior to this, I have been using Wolfgang deep gloss sealant and/or Jescar Power Lock which in my opinion are excellent sealants. I finished my Wolfgang bottle and I am almost out of Jescar Power Lock (been using it on our Odyssey and 4Runner and friend’s cars) so I decided to use my GG finishing sealant. My 2017 black Honda Ridgeline which I drive daily in Hawaii has mild swirls and scratches and is also a little hazy. I could have used either Correcting cream and/or Menzerna 3500 which I both have to polish and then followed by Power lock but this time I did not have enough time so I decided to use GG finishing sealant as a one-step. I applied this using the Griot’s G6 DA polisher. You have to work this on, I did 2 passes with moderate pressure and then another 2 passes without pressure at all. You have to let this settle for a while. I waited at least 10 minutes before buffing it off. It came out very easy. There are multiple complaints here stating that it’s hard to buff off but I think it’s because they did not wait long enough. If you buff this right away it’s kind of sticky. The result, in my opinion is the same as using a polish followed by sealant. Normally I’d still get good beading with Wolfgang or Power lock after 6 months. I have yet to find out how long the GG finishing sealant will last. Hope to remember to update later on the longevity.

Greater than one weekI have been hearing from so many professional detailers on YT that this stuff is great as a one-step paint enhancement or all-in-one product for your paint, so I tried it and Im sold. I applied it with a DA polisher and a Lake Country foam polishing pad (white) on my daily driver. I didnt need a heavy cut pad since the paint was already in good shape. It smoothed out the imperfections in the clear coat and made it really gleam while being very easy to work with. On top of that, the smell makes it a joy to work with too. Also, FS produces little to no dusting like some other products that do the job well but leave your car coated in dust when your done. Another great product from Griots Garage!

Greater than one weekThis is the result using a black finishing/polishing pad and my DA polisher. My very first paint enhancement on my sisters vehicle. A daily driver with extremely marred paint. She neither knows or cares what paint correction is, she just wanted her paint to pop a bit. One of the things I noticed was the very pleasant smell of the product. Good working time too. A little goes a long way. A few drops did the entire door panel with 3 to 4 passes on speed 4. I was done in a little over an hour. I heard that it wasnt sunlight friendly. I had no problems personally as it came off easily enough and I did this around 3 on the afternoon. Now that my confidence is up a bit Ill try the product using an orange pad next time. Overall a very good experience and result. My sister was overjoyed at the result and so was I. For those on the fence about paint correction/enhancement, give this one a try. Griots is a good product line to cut your teeth with.
