> 24 hourI’m happy with the quality of this wire spool so far. I have now idea about the wires insulation and how it would hold up to heat but I’m not using it in a hot environment. It seems true to the correct gauge and I’ve bought the 12 and 10 Ga spools.

> 24 hourThis zip cord has honest - to - size, stranded (>30 strands) copper wire conductors. With a caliper, I measure a diameter of 0.102, and the standard nominal diameter for 12 awg is 0.104. Insulation looks good, too. Walls are certainly thick enough for low - voltage use, and even for 120VAC use, though this is not the recommended application. Outstanding value at this price!

> 24 hourAfter seeing a few supposed deals on speaker wire, this came on my radar. The reviews looked good. I trimmed off one end with a good wire cutter and took a good look with a magnifier. Yes, it is real copper. I checked its size with a 30 amp (12 gauge) Powerpole terminal, and it fits exactly. The strands are just right for going in without fighting. I have used the red/black Radio Shack zip cord over many years, and the insulation on this wire seems to be at least equal, if not better. I have not tested it for heat resistance.

> 24 hourThe wire sheathing was well constructed and audio signal transfer is good.

> 24 hourI used this speaker wire to rewire my boat. Lots of different size wires on my boat, biggest being 10 gauge, so I yanked them all out and replaced them all with this 10 gauge speaker wire. I dont have a chassis ground, so all negative gets ran back to my fuse box, so having the 2 wires attached helped out a lot. I used non insulated Connectors and heat shrinked them. The wire is pure copper, and true 10 gauge.

> 24 hourI dont know about the wire, I only bought it to have on hand. Seems OK. Good price for 100 Feet.

> 24 hourI bought a spool of this for an application where I needed very little voltage drop along a long string of LED lights. (I plugged each ~3 foot strip of LEDs into a bus made of this wire, along a 30-foot total length.) It seems like genuine 12-gauge wire, and was at a good price, considering how expensive copper is these days. Good value, and accurate description.

> 24 hourI brought the 25ft roll to upgrade existing old speaker wire connections I had. These are sized proper for 12 gauge and are real copper strands and not CCA (copper clad aluminum). A lot of heavy gauge speaker wire available now are mostly CCA which is more brittle and conducts less electricity per the same wire size. I was glad to find this one though. It may not be in a clear vinyl jacket or look fancy but it is high quality wiring to be used for home stereo speaker wire connections.

> 24 hourNot bad. Just not high grade wire. But it worked for what I needed it for.
