Hakko T15-JS02 Conical Bent Tip R 0.2/30 Degree, 1.6 x 7.9 mm for FX-951

This tip works well and is ideal for rework IMHO. One of the few tool additions that makes me smile every time I use this tip.

An excellent tip for general purpose SMD soldering. I used it extensively in a recent project involving multiple QFP, SOT-23, and 0603 packages. The thin hook shape is also fantastic for doing air wire mods and repairs. Easily hooks around legs, thin traces, etc, while the tiny tip itself is great for heating tiny targets. The odd shape can be a little tricky to clean though, getting stuck on the wiremesh cleaning sponges.

Recently upgraded to the midline hakko station and love it. Ability to hot swap tips means I don’t try to push soldering with the wrong tip, hence a small collection of tips now. Great iras and tips

Best tool for the job. Drag solder, touch ups, even smb work where theres room for a full sized tip.

Good tip for dragging and pcb work.

This tip is the best tip for component level board repair. THe curve can be used for more surface for larger areas and the tip is small eniugh to reach in and under a flatpack.
