I bought this together with the SanDisk 500GB Extreme Portable SSD drive and the drive fits snug in the case, the quality seems to be good and should protect the drive whilst on the go.

Easy to use at home & travelling. Love the case. Very durable.

Very good fit. Unpadded and nowhere to add some. May not be needed for an SSD, but would be nice if three some.

My SanDisk 1TB Extreme Pro Portable will NOT fit inside this little case, but the cable it uses will. Id recommend the case for anyone who may want to protect any special stones that they need to protect...

If you bought the scandisk hard drive it is worth buying the case protects especially if you have critical documents on the drive
