The case seems rugged and the zipper works well. The only downside is that you lose the convenience of the drive being so small by putting it in this larger case. I suppose the compromise is worth it if it keeps it safe.

Just received two cases—one for the primary SSD, one for the backup—for a two-month international trip. Theyre well made, rugged, yet lightweight. The SSD fits perfectly inside as does the USB cable and adapter in the mesh pocket. The large zipper looks like it will endure many cycles. The case includes a carabiner apparently meant to suspend it from a backpack or belt loop. Seems like a risky way to carry something youre trying to protect, but perhaps it suits some user applications. I anticipate they will protect my SSDs very well.

Bought this to protect my SSD external drive even though the drive itself is advertised as a more rugged and durable unit Im just a little bit para with all my photos and work on it. Case is great, wouldnt worry at all if I dropped it and would seem to give some protection against any damp/wetness, not waterproof but unless youre a scuba diver Im not sure that matters. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect little case a little expensive ( worth it )

First thing I notices that the zipper works well. The 2TB did fit in there correctly and so did the USB cable. The main reason I for this is to not get seomthing in the USB port. It is really nice to have 2TB of backup data until you realize the USB port stopped fuctioning. That $10 case keeps it protected. I really like zip-lock bags and use them everywhere. This is more elegant when using it on a customer site.

Just what I needed, something to hold the device and the cable that came with it.
