Handles well but the handle is flimsy and doesn’t lock well. If you buy it, buy it here or check other retailers. I bought one here and one from Delsey but the prices on the Delsey site is much higher for the same styles. I also prefer Amazon’s great customer support than Delsey’s who literally replied to one of my questions with one word…no.

Love it great tons of room and fits in overhead perfectly...

Terrible quality. We arrive on vacation, grabbed our bag from the carousel and saw the zipper had broken, exposing all our belongings. Reworked the zipper to get it closed for the cab ride to hotel. Split open again when we arrived at hotel.

The was the first usage, but they passed the test of cobblestone. Many of eastern Europes sidewalks and pedestrian ways are cobblestone. I was expecting to need to drag them on 2 wheels to cover the terrain, but they worked well on all 4 wheels for the 4 weeks we ran around eastern Europe. We accumulated Vodka and Beer Steins that all came home intact. On smooth surfaces like our American sidewalks, I could put the handles on the lowest notch and drive both with one hand. Now ... your mother will probably not do that, but you could easily do so for your Wife or Mother. I cannot prognosticate the long-term durability, but after 7 countries in 4-weeks of trains, planes and automobiles across eastern Europe, they are working great. One additional thing is that only once did they tip over while pushing them on 4 wheels. The dimensions seemed like they might topple while pushing on rough surfaces, but they were great!

Delsey makes excellent luggage. Spend some time doing your research and this becomes clear. But the retail price is definitely up there. So if you do some further searching, including discounts and close-out at their own website, you can find some great deals. I guess, for whatever reason, this color and finish is currently lower than most of the other options. It is a very pleasant color and should stand out on the carousel. Definitely like the laptop pocket area that you can access without opening up the main area.

I love my carry-on bag. The wheels are high quality and have not worn down, even after trekking across the pavement parking lots of airports. Tons of room, light when empty. Reliable telescoping handle. The lock is handy and its nice not having to keep up with a separate lock. Easy to pack for a week away if you pack smart. Fits nicely in overhead bins. Cant say enough about this bag. It has changed my road life.

I got two of the medium size Helium suitcases for a trip to Uganda (that I am currently on). One bag, when arrived in Entebbe, lost a wheel lifting it out of the baggage carousel. Not even one day into our trip. The other bag, this morning (day 3) had its lock freeze up and we now need to remove the lock. The bags are pretty and I like the divider system inside. Boy are they light, too -- and that is nice. However, the durability is exceedingly poor. I would suggest those considering Delsey to instead look into Samsonite or other brands that have been around longer. A further note, trying to return or get service is nearly impossible -- there is some pretty obscure paperwork required that I can no longer find and nothing in our Amazon buying record can help. Do yourself a favor and dont buy the Delsey -- look into Samsonite instead.

Delsey is such a great line of luggage- so affordable - and they are just sexy and work so well. They survive the crushing torture that every airline puts luggage through (I travel internationally a lot and they look new). The wheels are the very best feature - they roll effortlessly across all surfaces. The zippers, etc. are tough. This is a very big piece - I could never fill it entirely before I met my weight limit. Delsey is the most cost effective, strong, durable, good looking (its true) luggage on the market.

While I would have liked the bag to have been a bit roomier, it is lightweight and stores overnight clothing and my laptop and supplies. Its hard to criticize it for what it isnt designed to do.

Awesome suitcase. It is super light when empty which makes sense! It has gone through two trips now with connecting flights, etc, so a lot of baggage handling and, aside from a couple of scuffs that wiped off, still looks good as new! The spinner wheels are amazing- I can push it through the airport with one finger even when it weighs 50 lbs! The only downside is the pocket inside is very small and the other one is in the divider so there isnt really a separate area for underwear/bras etc. But that is a very small price to pay, otherwise this is awesome!
