This fits well under my childs oversized crib mattress sheet. The problem is that this is NOT supposed to be used on toddler sized beds. Its for twin beds and larger. Its the exact length of a crib mattress. It requires, for safe installation, that space be between the headboard and footboard. This defeats the purpose of me buying it :( I should have listened to the reviews.

Used for my 4.5 year old who moves all over the bed and works exactly as advertised. 100% recommend

This thing is awesome. It is super easy to slide under a fitted sheet. It has little rubber bumps on it to keep it from sliding around. when my daughter wonders in our room to sleep it takes 5 seconds to throw this in and I don’t have to worry about her falling out of the bed. Haven’t tried it yet but we plan on taking it on vacation with us instead of hauling the pack and play.

We bought this for our 4 year old who is now sleeping on a full size bed. He moves quite a bit, but the bumper helps him stay in the bed. They come in a small box, but inflated pretty much immediately after getting them out of the packaging. He will sometimes place his head on the bumper, hug it or put a leg over it. It does the job. He has not fallen out of bed once. These were the tallest bumpers of this kind I could find. I am pretty happy with the purchase.

These are the best bumpers Ive used or seen in use. Firstly, they have a lifetime warranty! Even if you have a puppy chew them up or lose them in a house fire (God forbid), theyll replace them w/No questions asked so I highly recommend keeping the box they come in. The silicone matting keeps them from sliding off the bed for quite a good while however, you will have to adjust them occasionally. I find I only need to adjust when I am changing my bedding anyway. If you have a mattress cover on, I recommend putting the bumpers underneath it, if at all possible. If you dont or are unable, you may have to readjust them a little bit more often. I have a king size bed I put these onto & they reach far enough to still be practical & do their job. Regardless of bed size, youll find that you will likely need fitted sheets which have deep pockets, to accommodate how high they stick up. But going up another sheet size may also work. The product has no weird smell, are extremely durable & I highly recommend them. Edit: I recently had an issue where I needed a new bumper due to my own fault, as I didnt realize the window near the bumper/bedding was getting condensation on it from the window & mold was on the bedding/bumper. Although I cleaned it as thoroughly as I could, there was still staining & I was still concerned about the mold. Anyway, I spoke to an extremely helpful rep at Hiccapop & all I had to do was send a couple photos of the bumper & she had a brand new one sent out to me asap! It was such a relief & I really like how theyve configured the rubber & bumper cover now. The rubber strip on the bottom makes it even more sturdy in where I put it. Again, I highly recommend this bumper & company. They rise up pretty high too. My son has never rolled off my bed with these on. (Knock on wood)

Highly recommended! Such a simple easy fix for a toddler bumper. Great quality foam yet sturdy and does not slip around.

    Greater than one week

I just opened this, around 5:08pm today. I am excited to use this for my son! I am letting it rise to the stated 4.5 and will wait about two hours (per instructions) before I measure again. My only concern were the ends of the bumper - the left side seemed rather scrunched and flat - this was the start of the roll when it was packaged. Im hoping it will rise accordingly. The right side seems to be doing well. Im obviously not going to insert this under the mattress protector/fitted sheet yet until it rises to where it needs to be. You can tell that it fills the length of the crib beautifully. I was a little surprised, after registering my product on the companys website, this particular product is $3+ cheaper with free shipping. Although you wouldnt receive the 2 day Prime Shipping (something Ive already paid into)... its still cheaper and I was a little bummed over this lol - I feel like it should be offered for the $22 with Prime shipping on Amazon. Ill be back in a couple of hours to remeasure and see how it does overall. UPDATE: Okay, so its been 2 hours. I remeasured and it went from 3.5 to 4. We are 1/2 short from what it should be. The left scrunched and flat side perked up some more. I measured this and its right at 3.5. The right side remained fairly the same height from when I initially unpackaged it - 3.5 as well. Im not sure yet if I should be concerned or not... It didnt fully inflate to where it needs to be. I went ahead and installed it under the mattress protector AND the fitted sheet. My sons mattress is organic and so it doesnt have a plastic covering on it, but a fabric cover. I did notice the bumper to slide around a little - towards the center of the mattress not over the edge. My son was able to get in and out of the crib without any issues. Im truly crossing my fingers that he doesnt fall out of the crib tonight. I am going to put a few pillows and blankets on the floor beneath him (dont mind the huge mess in his room - we are currently in the middle of a move). I just so happened to read the tag thats attached to this product and I am pretty shocked to see that this isnt intended to be used on a toddler bed. Matter of fact, it isnt recommended at all! Maybe I missed something or didnt read something I should have before purchasing? I am still going to use at my own risk. I hope it turns out okay.

My 3-year-old has recently started sleeping reeeeeeally close to the edge of his bed. Its one of those 4-in-1 convertible cribs thats currently in the toddler bed with a side rail configuration. Since hes managed to fall out of it despite the side rail twice now, we got a little nervous when we made reservations for a little family vacation and his room had a Queen size bed! That drop is much bigger, and I wasnt sure what to do. After considering several options, we went with these largely because theyre extremely packable, and they were honestly fantastic for our needs. They are easy to install, stay firmly in place even as he rolls from edge to edge and pushes on them (honestly, what are these dreams hes having??), and pack down to a reasonable side when not in use. He loved his nest that they made, and they kept him safe and happy the whole trip. A great purchase!
