Okay, so let me preface this by saying that I am one of the last people to spend a bunch of money trying to get a baby to sleep. If baby wakes in the night then so be it.. BUT. I noticed when we switched baby to his pack and play for overnight sleep that HIS sleep quality started to decrease. He tossed and turned practically all night and had between 3-5 wakings (when he was only waking once when sleeping in his bassinet). The only time he would sleep well would be when sleeping on my mattress. We as parents obviously cant lay in the pack and play to test out its comfort (or can we?), but just pressing my hand into it I could tell it was much stiffer and harder than I remember them being with my first son 4 years ago. So I caved and bought the mattress. The mattress came quick, within 24 hours of ordering and arrived in a small box, a tad taller than a wine box. The mattress was vacuum packed and rolled up. I took the mattress out of the vacuum packaging right away and laid it out for an hour or so on a flat surface to puff up. Youll notice in the description that this mattress has two sides hard and soft with the hard being meant for infant and the soft for older babies. The hard side is still really nice and supple but the soft side has a true memory foam feel. We are using this mattress with a 6 month old baby who is a belly sleeper and opted to use the soft side. The mattress also features a zip off cover/sheet that is really soft and has an almost fleece feel to it. We are having baby sleep directly on the cover until we buy a sheet. *I will say, while sleeping on the cover I have noticed the tiniest amount of piling* Babys sleep quality has greatly improved since buying this mattress. He is taking a great morning nap, about 3 hours and is sleeping from 7 pm - 1 am, eating, and then going back to sleep until 7 am. I am so glad I made the decision to buy this mattress and would HIGHLY recommend it!

Why would a grown, plus-size, exhausted mommy sleep on a pack and play mattress? Reasons. Did I buy this mattress for my 8 month old? You betcha. It fit in his pack and play perfectly, it was way more comfy than the warped chip board bed that is the average pack and play, and I had no safety concerns. Fast forward a few months and my just 1 yr old has learned to get his leg over his pack and play and over his crib… so somehow in a haze of screaming (mostly his) crying (mostly mine) and post-baby GERD (definitely mine) I now sleep on the floor next to the baby surrounded by a giant playpen: him on his crib mattress and me half on this mattress half on a GERD wedge. And yes, I realize this sounds ridiculous. Moving on. This mattress is so comfy I probably won’t hold this over head for than a few years. Honestly, I’ve been sleeping on it for a few months now- obviously it’s not designed for someone my weight and size- but there is no sign of the the foam breaking down. It’s soft enough to to be comfortable, but firm enough to be supportive. The material is good quality and the cover washes really well. I would recommend this mattress to anyone looking for a comfy place to sleep for their little one.

This mattress is WELL worth the price. I grew up low-middle class, so this was a hard purchase for me. My now-two-year-old hated the crinkly mattress that came with her (used) crib, so she slept on the flat mat of the pack-and-play until shed fall asleep and then wed move her to our bed, (She slept alone in a bassinet as an infant, I promise Ive always been adamant on safe sleep). On my search I did see several cheaper options for a baby mattress, but wed love if shed sleep in her new big girl bed and wanted to make her bed as inviting as possible. I figured spending 20 bucks isnt really saving me much if she hates the mattress and refuses to sleep on it, so I pulled the trigger on this one. And Im so glad I did! She instantly went from 30 minute naps to 2 hour naps. Not even kidding. And it fits perfectly in the pack-and-play until her new bed arrives. I was already sold, but then tonight she had a belly ache and vomited on the mattress. I was expecting to have to scrub the foam part, but to my surprise it did not make it through the slip cover! Soaked on top and bone dry on the bottom! Wow! Only other input I have is to the manufacturers. As much as I loved the product, the card you sent with it just sat wrong with me. Telling customers they shouldnt voice their concerns sounds dishonest.

It’s soft, lightweight and easy to fold. Exactly what we needed.

This mattress is great! It arrived in a compressed bag, so not only was the international shipping on it much cheaper, but I felt confident that it arrived clean. It fit my standard graco pack and play perfectly and the sheets I used on the hard base fit too. It was a little tricky to get it to lay flat at first with the sheet on but that’s inevitable as the mattress is able to fold and a fitted sheet is made with elastic. It took less than two minutes to make sure the sheet was snug and press the mattress into the pack and play and it stayed no problem. My 1.5year old has slept through the night 5 times in the two weeks I’ve had this mattress and believe me that’s practically magic. The warranty is for life and the info/disclaimer page is a delightful read. It’s clear, brief, and is mildly amusing. I would highly recommend this to anyone, and if it were stolen I would buy it again. I say that because the warranty ensures that’s the only reason I would have to buy it again. I suppose I could lend it to an irresponsible cousin also...so I guess there are two conditions in which I would need to buy it again and in either case I would do so. It’s a great mattress.

My daughter uses the soft side and its soft enough that even though she wakes up when we lay her down at bedtime, she immediately goes right back to sleep. If she over flows her diaper in the middle of the night, the soft mattress cover that it comes in, prevents anything from getting into the pad itself. This ensures that every night, regardless of accidents, can be a clean and comfortable sleep experience for her. Though we got this too late to use the firm side for her sleep. It seems perfect for little ones, soft enough that it doesnt feel like a wooden board, which will keep them comfortable, but firm enough that they wont sink in to it. We do use the firm side for when shes just playing in her pack and play and its easier and more comfortable on her feet and rear, then that jokingly padded board that comes with the Pack & Play. And were less worried about any tumbles she might have because though firm, it cusions every fall. Im so happy that we got the Hiccapop Mattress pad for our little angel. She sleeps so much better since we got it for her! I cant say enough good things about it. We even bought the Hiccapop folding pad for traveling. I especially recommend this with the Brolex Pack & Play stretchy fitted sheets! This is not a paid review for either product. Just a grateful review from a mother that virtually never got any sleep before these!

Love this mattress. My little one was not sleeping well on just the pack n play mattress because it was so stiff, and this is great to add a little extra padding and folds up well, super easy to travel with.

My 15th month old has never slept through the night when we travel. Great sleeper at home, but not in Graco pack n play. Purchased this mattress and she slept through the night the whole 5 night trip! Doesnt fit perfectly in a graco pack n play but good enough.

I initially ordered a foldable Playard mattress from Hiccapop which unfortunately became unavailable or undeliverable. However, I am very satisfied with this purchased also from Hiccapop. The mattress is a perfect fit for my Ingenuity Baby Pack n Play. Although my pack n play size is 28.25 x 41 x 28.25 , this mattress seems to fit just fine. I wish I knew about this for my first born. Anyways, it seems very comfy for my 3 mo old baby girl . In the beginning, I think she’s trying to get used to it and was waking up quite frequently at night. But day 3 is so much better, she actually slept through the night. And I believe it is the mattress! It was delivered pretty quickly, it came in a small box and rolled up. I was surprised at first how it fit there but the mattress is flexible and bendable into a roll and I let it out and after a few hours the mattress finally take their usual form. I kept the box because then if I have to travel with it then I can just rolled it up and put back in the box. I love the waterproof cover it came with and I washed it right away according to instructions with mild cycle. Any pack and play mattress cover will fit this mattress. I brought a separate cover with beautiful flower designs fit like a glove into this mattress . Overall, it’s a Great Buy! It’s worth the money and your baby will sleep soundly and comfortably!
