> 3 dayThis little gem did a whole lot better than I thought it would. Maybe it was my elbow grease that was the winner, but Ive tried to clean my couch before and it didnt even come close to how clean it is now. I have 3 boys a 1 girl, ages 10 down to 2 and every thing they touch ends up on the couch. Mind you, the couch isnt white nor is it in pristine condition, but now I might even let guests come over and sit on it! It took three fills to do the whole couch which is a sectional with 5 seats coushins and a long lounge side (I cant remember what its called right now). My main concern with a shampooer is whether it will suck up the water or will my couch take a week to dry. It took me about 2 1/2 hours with breaks and dumping and refilling. By the time I got to the end my starting point was almost dry, so I would have to say it has pretty good suction! (Censorship prevents me from telling a joke) this little baby got all the stains out of my couch, if you look at the picture I posted it shows how muddy the water was. Its super easy to clean and it has this awesome tool that helps you clean out the spray tube and vaccume hose (always the annoying part of cleaning the machine). The wide scrub/vacuum comes apart for easy cleaning. Such an easy machine to use. My only complaint and I mean my one and only complaint is the dirt tank, I wish it was bigger.

> 3 dayIf this had been the only spot cleaner I’d ever used, I might rate this one 4 out of 5 stars because it does work. However I have 3 other models and have used a few more over the last decade or two, including attachments on a larger upright steam cleaner. And this one is right up the middle. I have 2 Bissell pet spot cleaners that work better than this model. The reason I purchased this one is because the cleaning head was wider, which made me assume it would clean faster. But the section is poor, and the cleaning head dripped so much that I felt like I was having to suck up the same areas over & over because the area I was cleaning was constantly wet. Now the areas I cleaned looked cleaner, and the water that got sucked up in the tank was filthy. But I know this was surface dirt ‘cause the suction of this thing was not pulling out grime from deep in the upholstery or carpet fibers. So if you’re looking for a deep cleaner, look elsewhere. But if you are just looking to suck up pet accidents when they occur, or just surface grime from your furniture or stair carpeting, etc… this is fine for that purpose. You’d be better off renting the attachment tools and a Rug Doctor from the grocery store if you need a deep cleaning.

> 3 dayI got this because we got a puppy. It works very well in my opinion. Very good suction and easy to use, lightweight. The hose split near the nozzle so I called Amazon. It had passed the 3 month return window even though I had only used it 3 times. Amazon offered to replace it anyway but I just wanted to replace the hose. The gave me the number to the hoover folks and after sending them proof of purchase as well as photos they said they cant just get a replacement hose. They replaced to whole thing. All in all the process was a bit of a hassle and in hindsight I wish I had taken the return from Amazon. I just thought all I needed was the hose but didnt know they dont just replace hoses.

> 3 dayI absolutely love this for cleaning up after pets or kids. On carpet, furniture, mattresses, and even for the vehicle. The only downside is it is uncomfortable on hands after long term use, the grip area could be softer or cushioned.

> 3 dayI would’ve given this a 5 star because it cleans great but the spray button sticks and soaks everything.
