Absolutely excellent. The writing is quite excellent and the story the same. It is an adventure story worth reading

If you like original oral history This book is for you. This book gives a lot of insight into the customs and social interations of that period. I enjoyed it very much. Some of the older words needed a bit of research for me but that is part of the fun of reading older books.

If you are interested in Africa, this will interest you. The more I read about Livingstone, the odder it seems he was.

Not as good as I expected but still an interesting.

This is Henry Stanleys first hand account of the expedition to find Dr. David Livingstone who went missing in Africa. The book is both an account of his search and a travelogue of Africa during the Victorian period.

this book is very very very repetitive (did you catch catch that?). However, Henry transports you to Africa right into the tribal culture, which is purely a magical read.

History of a great man! Opened up so much of Africa so many years ago, when people hardly knew anything about most of the continent.
