> 3 dayI am not particularly impressed by the colors and it is not a very bright monitor. The picture does look good (I am used to just a 1080p monitor and the difference is noticeable) but with monitors you get what you pay for. Overall it is a nice size and clear image but if you are looking for something “vibrant” and “bright” you may need to look at monitors at least in the $300+ range.

> 3 dayWas kind of nervous after realizing there were 2 different panel manufacturers and receiving the less desirable of the two(BIM model) but holy crap this thing is crisp. No bright spots, even coloring, and man is gaming on it smooth. Well worth the money spent!

> 3 dayOnly thing I didnt really like is that the colors were a bit inaccurate out of the box, used some software and got a proper color profile on it and its amazing.

> 3 dayGreat monitor! No backlight bleeding like the other, more expensive monitors I bought and had to return. If you are look for the best value monitor that checks all the boxes, this is it.

Greater than one weekI got this for $210 which for what it is, was an excellent deal. I ended up ordering a second and one was the LG panel and the other was the BOE panel. I really dont see a difference between the 2 panels. Yeah theres the usual IPS glow and if I am being super critical, the LG one has a little more glow on the top left than the BOE panel, but its totally acceptable for this price. The black frame insertion performance is great and the response time set to 2 looks perfect. The HDR looked super clipped and blown out no matter the settings on my PS5, but I didnt get this monitor for that feature. I wish VRR was supported on the PS5 for this one, but at least it works on the PC and Xbox consoles. I highly recommend this screen if you see it on sale and need a gaming monitor.

> 3 dayAs several reviews mention, at some HP decided to replace the highly lauded LG panel in this monitor with a cheaper BOE (a Chinese manufacturer) panel. Its hard to say exactly how much this degrades the quality of the panel but keep in mind that the initial wave of very positive reviews for this may not be as accurate as they were. So far it seems good enough considering I got it on sale. I had a dead pixel scare exactly on day after the 30 day return period ended but I think it was a false alarm. I also think I may have received a returned monitor though as it has some scuffs on it and the warranty was already activated 2 months before I even received it. Might have to look into what thats about. Just do your due diligence and if you can grab it on sale, it should hopefully serve well as a decent monitor considering its size, resolution, and refresh rate. Will update as time goes on if any issues pop up.

> 3 dayive had the same 60hz asus ips since 2013, its been my main monitor for ever. it was such a good monitor and non i ever seen in person seemed better. BUT this hp monitor BLOWS this thing out of the water. the white are truly white, the blacks are truly black, the greys look grey. the colors are popping! i got this monitor for 150 on sale and my god i wish i bought 2 now. the base mount is really good and slides up and down smooth as butter. i did notice that with my 1660 ti having it at 165hz uses my gpu and makes the heat rise. but if i have it set to 144hz which is more around the gpu can handle then it works fine. so if you dont have a good mid range or high end card it will still do you justice just lower the refresh rate like i did. this and nvidias digital vibrance is freaking insane. im so happy with this monitor

> 3 dayUsed for gaming, photo editing, general computer-ing. HP pulled a bait-and-switch with this monitor, and you may get a superior LG panel or a subpar BOE panel. If you can get it for less than $200 its a steal either way, and a HUGE improvement from 1080p 60hz. IPS glow is kind of bad. My lower left corner has bad IPS glow, lower right is noticeable, top corners are fine.
