> 3 daycant turn down the brightness or contrast. They are stuck at 90. Can go up to 100 but not down. No answers beyond download a new driver or try the generic driver on HPs support forum. PRO: 2 hdmi ports, thin bezel CON: brightness issue mentioned above. being able to raise or lower the monitor would be nice

> 3 dayPros: - sleek design, thin screen - good seller, replaced my scratched base immediately Cons: - black colors are totally washed out. The backlighting makes the black colors bright and not true blacks. Not fixed by adjusting display settings - horizontal display lines. Not sure if that’s normal or I’m sitting too close and noticing them, particularly annoying when watching video - my screen flickers every now and then. Usually stops with screen restart. Although this may be due to the dock, not sure.

> 3 dayPairing it with a MacBook Pro via the HDMI cable is easy. But getting this supposed 1080p monitor to not be grainy and have legible text has been a struggle. Looking through posts online and HP’s support site, it seems that others have the same problem. If you’re pairing with a Mac, do a lot more reading than I did so you don’t end up with 27 inches of useless monitor.

> 3 dayYou never know what you might end up with when you order a monitor online. Normally I like to compare monitors side-by-side at a store. But everything about the specs and the look of this monitor convinced me to give it a try. And wow, I cannot believe how stunning this monitor is! One of reasons I narrowed it down to this one in the first place was the fact that I would be able to reach the inputs on the back with ease. Some monitors are great Im sure, but I dont like having to look up from the bottom in order to plug in HDMI cables. Having it plug straight in from the back is so much easier, its not even funny. Another thing I liked was the base. I dont know why other companies dont adopt this brilliant configuration. Its incredibly stable left to right and front to back. And it takes up no more space than a great big, solid base. But it looks a whole lot cleaner. And then there was the unimaginable thinness of the monitor. And of course the almost zero bezels on the left and the right. Those are the reasons I narrowed my selection down to this monitor in the first place. But let me tell you, once you plug it in, turn it on, and get a look at that picture, the rest of that stuff is just icing. The picture takes the cake.
