> 24 hourIt is true, battery life is poor, and it keeps disconnecting from wi-fi. In this century, there is no plausible reason for a computer that costs this much to have these flaws. Have not decided whether to send it back. I still use a Toshiba and a Dell, this one was lighter for taking to other countries. I wanted a backlit keyboard. You start out putting all your data on it, only to find out the flaws as you go. Very discouraging, do not know if it is Win 10 or HP. Will get to the bottom of it and update this poor review. There wasnt a whole lot of comments when I purchased. Pen and touch work decent, so does the switching to tablet like mode.

> 24 hourThis HP Pavilion definitely isnt the lightest option out there, but its a really nice combination of price and functionality. We mainly use it as a tablet for our two elementary schoolers for school work and sometimes videos and its worked perfectly for both those functions. Its sturdy enough that its survived being dropped a couple of times, and the overall construction is nice and sturdy. Battery life again isnt the best out there, but its solid for the price point -- ranges from 6 to 9 hours depending on whether its video vs general web browsing, and it does a 50% charge in 45 minutes which is handy when were traveling an plugging in briefly during an airport layover. All around a really nice option for either a kids primary laptop, or a solid adult travel laptop.

> 24 hourI have an all-in-one desktop HP Pavilion which I like. However, I cannot take it with me and use in the car or on trips. I like the Pavilion laptop even though I am not used to one. I am learning. So far it does everything I need it to do. I am quite pleased with it.

> 24 hourI only gave this computer 3 stars because of the battery life. It was draining while completely shut down, but I updated the BIOS and that problem seems to be taken care of. Still, the battery life is much less than my ASUS ZenBook Flip. Other than that, I like this computer and I think it will do well for doing my schoolwork.

> 24 hourThis computer has been great so far. The touchscreen is very sensitive, and the touchpad is actually one of the better ones I’ve ever used – usually when I use a touchpad I’m reaching for the mouse after a few minutes. With this one, I am good using the touchpad for long periods of time.

> 24 hourThe first one I received quickly locked up and prevented downloading items from Microsoft store or even windows updates. No matter what I tried, it would not work right. During discussions with Amazon to return item, It was recommended that I try another one. I did and that one has worked really, really well. The start up time is pronominal, everything seems to work very well except for the battery life. It goes quickly. However, I am so happy with the rest of the laptop that I have chosen to ignore the number of times I have to hook up to charge. Overall, its a very good laptop which I did not think I would say based on the first one I got. I gave it four stars because of all the problems with the first laptop.
