    The computer screen frequently turns itself off while I’m using it and then will turn back on. It makes it VERY hard to get my work done with this computer.

    It literally says that it is a 60 hz monitor in the monitors menu and even on the manual.

    I needed a new monitor quickly, as my old one stopped working. I was surprised to find this low cost HP monitor, and wasnt sure how good it would be. I got it the next day, it was in perfect condition, and took only a few minutes to plug it in. I am really pleased with the quality. I do not use it for gaming, but for everyday use, it is perfect.

    If all you are doing is using this to surf the web I guess its fine. But if you want to use it for anything that you want a half decent picture for do not get this monitor. All I can describe it as is grainy and pixelated. It truly feels like an image that has been saved and reposted several times and has lost picture quality everytime. For the price range you can get a larger and better monitor, that also has more than one hdmi port I might add.
