> 3 dayThe charger does kept opening and closing. It didnt not recognize my S22 or my daughters iPhone. Perhaps its just designed for HTC products. It should specify that to consumers.

> 3 dayI tested this with my Samsung S21, in a somewhat thick Otterbox Defender case. Key requirements for me: - Confirmed: It does fast wireless charging (is not limited to 10W) when paired with a charger that does Samsung Adaptive Fast Charging. - Confirmed: It charges my phone despite my somewhat-thick Otterbox Defender case. - Confirmed: When you shut off the car and the charger loses its power, the holder still has enough juice to let you unclamp your phone. I didnt perform a full set of tests on this model because I decided to return it because of its relatively long delay before clamping the phone. Positives (compared to other auto-clamping wireless car chargers I have tried): - The zone to touch to open the clamp is not in a place where Im likely to unintentional touch and accidentally unclamp the phone. Negatives (compared to other auto-clamping wireless car chargers I have tried): - Takes several long seconds before it starts to clamp your phone. - Theres no button or raised bump for opening the clamp - more of a nebulous zone where youre supposed to touch to make it open the clamp. Other: This model has a unique auto-search feature, which looks for the optimal vertical position of your phone to match up your phones charging coil with the chargers charging coil before it clamps your phone in place. This may be desirable for a family which uses different phone models or sizes of case, where the phone position needs to be different for each phone in the household; but this models auto-search function is conspicuously slow, requiring a few seconds each time you insert the phone (with a beep each time it tries a new position)...and by then I might have driven over a bump and caused the phone to bounce out of the open holder onto the floor. This became a dealbreaker for me. (I did however find an ICLOVER model on Amazon with an auto-search feature; its design is better, because it clamps your phone right away, before moving the chargers coil up and down inside the charger. So if you are a household that uses phones with enough differences in where their coils are located, I recommend that ICLOVER one.)
