> 24 hourI love this backpack!!!! All the compartments make it easy to organize all of my items. I appreciate the way the straps are made it’s helps for the weight of my items to be evenly distributed so that it’s not a strain on my neck and back and the luggage strap…. *chef’s kiss* would definitely recommend this bag. Good quality material and accessibility to my most important items are just a couple of the bonuses.

> 24 hourI’m a flight attendant and recently decided to find a perfect backpack rather than bringing my roller carryon luggage. I bought 4 backpacks but this is the one I’m keeping. It holds almost as much as my 21” carryon luggage but is super lightweight compared to that. I wish it had a waist strap and a hidden pocket at the lumbar part but otherwise it has everything I need. Will update this review as I use this backpack— I am HARD on luggage (I travel 80-90% of the month), so if this survives with me, it’ll survive with you. Also this bag looks slightly too long to be put under the seat in front of you on some airlines, depending on your flight attendants you might have to put it in the overhead bin, but it will easily fit up there.

> 24 hourI purchased this backpack for a recent international trip on which I flew on Eva Airways, Japan Airlines, and Alaska Airlines. My photos show the backpack on the Eva Airways flight. As you can see, the backpack did not fit entirely underneath the seat in front of me. In fact, only a fraction of the backpack fit under the seat and the majority spilled out directly where my feet were. The backpack was 80% full because Eva and Japan have strict weight limits on carry-ons and WILL weigh your bags! After take-off, I pulled the backpack out and stood it up parallel between my legs so I could endure the 12-hour flight. Otherwise, I wouldve been miserable! The backpack itself was great and held up on a three-week trip! I love how it opens all the way around like a suitcase. If this were to be a check-in bag, you definitely had plenty of room to stuff it to the max! As a carry-on to be stowed in the overhead bin of the airplane, its fantastic! But if you plan to bring it as a carry-on to put UNDER the seat in front of you, I dont recommend it. Especially if it will be the only thing you bring in the trip. You will definitely be limited to how much you can put in the backpack in order to squish it under the seat in front of you.

> 24 hourSo, the green bag is my usual go-to for when I dont want to pay for a carry-on or checked bag. I can get my laptop(s) chargers, some toiletries, extra shoes, and a ton of clothes in there, but it is HEAVY with the shoulder strap design. I really wanted a backpack personal item, but my fear was that it wouldnt fit as much, especially being padded for the laptop. In the backpack I have 2 bathrobes, 2 jackets, 3 pairs of jeans, and 2 laptops. In the green bag I fit almost all of that, but not quite. And it would have taken some cursing and sitting on it to close it. I think the backpacks design will make it much easier to stuff and still close it. And the separate laptop area will make my life much easier at security. For reference, the backpacks listing says 40L, the green bag says 25L. One of these seems to be way off. But, as my only criteria was at least as big as my old bag, Im definitely happy with the size. I truly questioned whether I would be able to lay this bag flat when filled with clothes for easily going through security. I could, but juuuuust barely. My computer rose to the very top of the sleeve because the zipper doesnt go down far enough to really open it all the way. I probably wont do this anyway due to the way I will pack this bag to within an inch of its life and therefore I wont be TSA compliant. It would be nice if there was a passport/phone pocket either on the back (hidden against my back) or on the shoulder strap. The luggage strap could be a little better, but as not one of my very expensive computer backpacks has any luggage strap whatsoever, this is definitely a step up. I wouldnt mind the laptop zippers going down a little more, but that is only for TSA compliance and its probably sturdier with its current design. The water bottle side pocket is a nice touch. There are 3 large zippered pockets on the exterior and one very large zippered pocket on the interior. I would have loved a small zippered pocket inside the laptop area for keys, etc. While I might have put 1 or 2 extra touches on this bag, I think Im going to love it. I cant wait to take it on a plane and distribute the weight onto both shoulders instead of trying to drag a shoulder bag around. Edit: took it on a plane. Could not get it to lie flat in the chaos of going through security and had to pull the laptop out. I still love it, but if leaving your laptop in the bag while going through security is important to you, I might go with a different bag.
