I had the one with the round screw caps on both ends and it kept coming apart. I got this to replace it and its solid.

At the basic level, this works. However, due to its four corner mounting and it’s four screw removal design for the top, it makes changing fuses akward

This is a excellent fuse if you are running high wattage subs...personally I have 2 12 sundown sa’s on 4 gauge wiring...I could easily tell the obvious deeper bass gain from more current drawn...if you got a decent powerful hard hitting system this is definitely a great choice!!

Fit our space, served the need. Well constructed. It was installed in a camper so has to work in a rolling earthquake world.
