> 3 dayI was running ceiling speakers for an Atmos setup and ran into the 2 big box stores to grab some speaker wire but noticed that they werent selling pure copper wire, rather, aluminum coated with copper. Speaker wire should be made of pure copper so I was happy to find this product on Amazon. Soft copper stands are easy to work with. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayBest cable I’ve found on Amazon for DIY. Great value. High quality. Albeit tight, .50 nylon woven sheathing will fit over this cabling. Did 100’ with minimal effort. Professional results.

> 3 dayThis wire had a manufacturing flaw. When I pull the positive and negative wires apart it leaves the positive side bare because the copper is not centered in the sleeve. The whole 25 ft is a waste. Sorry intsallgear. I will not trust you again.

> 3 dayYes its OFC, yes its the correct gauge. So what is the problem? Well you CANNOT separate the two wires!! The insulation is constructed in such a way that if you try and pull the wires apart it tears off one side leaving the copper wire exposed on the tear out. What a total let down! Just separating the wires and not even one inch down and bam the insulation tears open from one side. I needed to wire my DVC subwoofers in series and parallel so I need to separate the wire to join the various voice coils which was impossible. I tried to pull them apart, tear out. Even a razor cut is no good as the wires are pretty much joined within one single insulation. I returned this item and now will think twice before ordering from InstallGear again. Its sad actually. Anyways beware, the wires cannot be successfully separated without tear out. Buy at your own risk.
