> 3 dayForget what you remember about stiff and unwieldy speaker wire, ala Radio Shack. This stuff is literally like sitting in a Mercedes, after driving a K-Car. This is a solid 14-gauge pair of wires in a beautiful silky jacket. Yeah, I said SILKY.... Very flexible, yet substantial. I got the MediaBridge banana plugs (sold in pairs of 7, so two sets is perfect for a 7 speaker surround set up) to go with these. The jacket slides snuggly up into the barrel for a solid feel and one only needs 1/4” of wire peeking out to connect the top of the banana plug. The flexibility will come in handy for my wire runs; tucking in and under, but honestly the appearance is so nice you might not mind someone seeing them!
