> 3 dayBought together with a asus tuf z590 board, practically fell together and booted issue free. Problem free xmp, pci express 4.0, and high temps in the mid 60s. For those who are die hard intel or don’t want to deal with the sourcing issues with ryzen, gaming wise this is the best bang for the buck.

> 3 dayWhy did Intel launch this CPU when the driver isnt ready? Someone at Intel told me its not ready and coming in few weeks.......just sad they want your money first

> 3 dayI went back and fourth between an i7 and this. I felt the gain in speed for the i7 did not warrant the price increase. Now I have a lightening fast system (with graphics for backup) and paid much less than an i7.

> 3 dayFor the money this CPU is a steal, i bought this one because of the price to performance ratio and so far its ran everything amazingly, no issues at all. Ive had programs loading slow but i think thats another issue not associated with the CPU I have m.2 nvme drives so not sure whats going on but things like steam want to load really slow but i was having that issue before my upgrade so i think its related to that. AS far as the CPU itself im running battlefield 2042 with it and a 3080 and getting close to 140 fps which is really good i think considering how unoptimized that lunatic piece of software is. I have zero idea what easy to lock is it asks for in the review but i gave it five stars anyway because this does everything you could want from it. I bought it for gaming, not sure how it would do with productivity or video editing stuff but im sure just the same. Great bargain for a top of the line gaming cpu.

> 3 dayBeing an i5 type this is the base of Intel processors. You can get the i5 types in all generations including the latest 13th-generation processors that just came out. Do your homework and see which generation/i version (i5, i7, i9) will do the best job for you. Just buying the cheapest is as foolish as buying the most expensive for no real reason. Keep in mind most i9 versions are 125 watts or more and cooling those processors is a skill in itself.
