Intel do your marketing material right before mentioning 125W TDP. Beware you couldnt play certain games due to DRM. I would prefer all high core performance. I believe they are aiming E core for their laptop which I certainly dont like!. This CPU cannot pass my sword test ⚔ ⚔ ⚔ ⚔

Still the best processor in its segment, both for performance and price.

My setup right now is i5 12600k (from 6600k) and GTX 1070. I was on the fence of what to upgrade first my CPU or graphics card. I mainly use my PC for gaming so the convention is to focus on the graphics card but due to whats been going on I went for this instead and I beyond dont regret my decision I feel like a god. I did not realize how good my graphics card was and how much my old CPU was holding it back until now. Dont get me wrong 6600k is solid but I was losing my love for gaming over time and I thought it was just life but no.. it was because games did not run smoothly causing something of an unaware depression. Something like Tales of Arise can run on the highest graphic settings in 4k with this setup, just feels beautiful. Also have not reached even beyond 50% cpu usage yet. The highest was Vanguard but Call of Duty likes to abuse the cpu for some reason (like 32% on avg, compared to 100% and being unplayable on the lowest setting 1080p previously).

I am upgrading from a 8700k so this chip isnt that big of an upgrade for me. Its fast, does what I need it to do. Out of the box no issues, no bent pins. CPU started up no issues

The money spent and what it can do, Im surprise that its at this low cost for what it can do. Have no problem what so ever! You cant go wrong with this CPU!

This thing runs like a beast. I can get a 43% OC in Ai tweaker and even stress testing getting the CPU up to 80C it still runs rock solid. I got mine on sale for $182 and at that price its an absolute steal.

Probably the last mid tier chip that Intel will make that you can cool without breaking the bank. Just kidding of course but this thing has an almost reasonable TDP and its price to performance is still quite great, especially if youre planning on getting a Z690 that youd rather not flash.
