I went from a i7 4770k to this. AND WOW. It doesnt even sweat at anything I throw at it.

Ne chauffe pas beaucoup, ne dépasse pas 60°c sous OCCT à pleine Charge, très stable sur une MSI Z690,

Believe it or not, but under that huge cooler is the Intel Core i7-12700K processor. While I intend to later upgrade to discrete graphics, initially I am using the GPU that is internal to the processor. It was satisfying when I threw the switch the first time and everything just worked. The GPU was powerful enough to run some virtual world software that I use at a good frame rate. I believe I made the right choice in this processor.

the cpu seem fine ( no noticeable damage ) but for me that unboxing look very sketchy and low quality for a 600$CAD product

Ive had this overclocked at 5.0 GHz for a couple weeks now and it hasnt skipped a beat. I bought an MSI Z690 MPG Edge Motherboard to pair with this beast of a chip. Keep in mind, it does NOT come with a cooler so make sure you have a reputable thermal paste and a solid cooler to pair with this. I have a pre-filled watercooler (Corsair Hydro Series H115i Pro) which is giving me temps idle as low as 19°C (not joking, look at the picture). Under full load, I have yet to hit over 50°C even gaming at 1440p (2k resolution). If Im being quite honest, this CPU is overkill for gaming. If you have the extra money, go for it. If not, a i5-12600k will be just as powerful for less money.

i7 is so much more affordable than i9 and probably not that big of a performance difference

Very fast at a good price point. Upgraded from i7 series 9. Twice as fast as the previous CPU, when using my astronomy image processing software.
