> 24 hourThis is the most anyone should need for a while as of 2022 (at least for gaming).

> 24 hourMy last PC CPU was an intel 9700k and while gaming-wise the performance doesnt seem much higher. I obviously get a few more FPS, but it has not been so noticeable. I wouldnt be able to tell the difference on a blind test. However, this CPU is just amazing for every other task and overall I am happy with it.

> 24 hourI built a gaming desktop PC with this cpu and a Zotac 3080 trinity GPU. I get higher frame rates with this cpu than the zotac 3080 while playing the new call of duty mw2. I get max:200fps with this cpu and max:165 fps with the gpu, while doing the benchmark test, COD has in game. Keep in mind, I am not the most tech savvy, when it comes to computers and over clocking.

> 24 hourUpgraded from an i5 7500 to the 12700k. Definitely worth it, pairing it with a GTX 1070ti and the extra cores definitely help in a lot of games.

> 24 hourBelieve it or not, but under that huge cooler is the Intel Core i7-12700K processor. While I intend to later upgrade to discrete graphics, initially I am using the GPU that is internal to the processor. It was satisfying when I threw the switch the first time and everything just worked. The GPU was powerful enough to run some virtual world software that I use at a good frame rate. I believe I made the right choice in this processor.

> 24 hourGuter Prozessor, kostet aber auch sein Geld. Verursacht bei mir teilweise Spulenfiepen, ansonsten ein gutes Produkt.

> 24 hourUpgraded my gaming PC from an old i7-6700k and this thing is FAST! It does run pretty hot though, so make sure your cpu cooler is up to the task and you have good airflow in your case. Bonus feature: Doubles as a space heater in the cooler months!

> 24 hourJust avoid this cpu all together unless youre a fanboy or stuck on anything older than 4th gen. Both i5 and i7 here on a rtx 3080. Gaming is pointless on this cpu and its just a fact. In 1440p and 4k u gain absolutely nothing over my old 10700k. Except for horrible Temps. This will average Temps at least 10c higher then previous Intel or my ryzen 5900x. And worst part is Intels unnecessary change in cpu cooler layout. U will spend weeks finding a cooler or trying to get manufacturer to send u a bracket to update existing cooler. Literally had to return my first one I purchased from best buy because I couldnt even find a cooler within the 15 day return policy and didnt want stuck with a DOA product. And the fact AMD is already releasing ryzen 3d which surpasses this by 20% it makes this jump to Intel again pointless. Because we all know Intel will change socket and layout again leaving us stranded again with no cooling options. Worse part. Not even a cooler in box to test cpu with. Had to buy a hideous noctua as it was only thing I could get my hands on that fit
