I update my review to clarify that the memory coming in the unit is indeed DDR4. I initially mentioned that it was DDR3 because the frequency I read was 2667 MHz instead of 3200 MHz (the maximum freq. spec for DDR4). However, the max frequency spec for DDR3 is 2133 MHz not 2667 MHz. Therefore the memory is indeed DDR4 so I made a mistake in my initial review which I want to correct in this updated review.

I have an LG Gram laptop with the new 11th gen intel processor in it and was extremely impressed with it. So, when it came time to replace an older second computer that is a desktop, I waited patiently to see which companies would start producing NUC form factor devices with the 11th gen processor.

I’m replacing a 7 year old computer. I wanted something that would be somewhat ‘future proof’. The Intel NUC version 11 has the forward-looking features to stay current longer than most.

While an impressive product, what was also very noteworthy was the Sellers sales support. Not only did the Seller (Geek+) take the time to fully understand what I was seeking, they also proactively informed me of a newer model that just became available on a special offering! Being (forgive the term) old-school with relationships - and unlike so many stores these days that focus more on the transaction than the actual purchasing experience - this Seller really stood out. They could have simply sold me the older, more expensive model - but they instead cared about improving my solution. Id definitely seek them out again other similar solution needs...

After a firmware upgrade from Intel everything worked well, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, video. I would buy again, great value, low noise and a small foot print. This is a headless system, remote login. No monitor, keyboard or mouse. All access is via ssh via Wi-Fi. Really pleased with this system.

I cant believe how this little box (which fits in my hand) is faster and more efficient than my old PC which was basically a boat anchor. I was skeptical that it would fit all my needs, but it DOES, and gives me so much space on my desk! It was easy to set up, and in the month weve been using it, have had no issues. On top of all that, we got it for a great price. Very satisfied customer.

20221220 Update

This little NUC has all the power Id ever need for Office, web browsing with way too many tabs open, and the occasional HD movie. I couldnt be happier with it!

Good value for money. I use a Rappoo 5Ghz wireless mouse and keyboard from an over 20 ft distance.

This thing is tiny, which is awesome. It was quick and easy to plug everything in and get it set up. I’ve been using it for about a month and have had no issues.
