Got this for my 1st grader who with virtual school is now traveling with a laptop, needed more utility than the book bag she had. It’s so pretty. Vibrant colors. Exactly as pictured. Durable quality that I expected from JanSport. This bag is an investment.

Excelente mochila para viajar. Bastantes compartimientos, muy comoda.

This back pack is great for traveling, very roomy and durable. Does not seem like it would be great for hiking as it has no extra chest strap.

After 3 months of daily use, leather bottom has begun to peel. Compartment dividers are really thin, I am not sure how it will hold up after a year of use.

Since I was in Jr high, I remember getting Jansport Backpacks. Now Jansport makes good backpacks but this perticular model only lasted a couple of years. Normally, the Jansport backpacks I get is $75, it is about $30 more but it is genuine leather and suade on top. The problem with the synthetic or cheaper material is it has durability issues. I just got a scholarship to my grad program and had to get a backpack that will last me for more than two years. Spend a bit more get the real deal Jansport and you wont be sorry. This one I will give two stars out of fve and I am really being kind because it lasted over a year, other backpacks in that price range will go bad before the year. There is wear and tear on the straps and it has durability issues so what you pay for is what you get. The new one I got is jet black and it has suade and genuine leather, the previous one was navy blue.

Backpack received was not backpack pictured, kinda bummed.

After testing out so many different backpacks I went back to the brand that stuck by me in High Shool and College. I can carry my work computer, files, phones, and the water bottle holder actually holds my 32oz hydro flask. Very happy with this backpack.

The backpack looks great, we had one last through college and went with same brand, but this one didnt make it a full week for a 7th grader! Were going to try and reach the manufacturer and see if we can exchange as the return window has closed. Give it another try given their previous track record. Will let you know.
