This part broke and my generator and was more readily available than the Kohler part so I took the gamble and fit perfectly. Considering the application of both pieces I expect it to have the same longevity and will definitely order another for backup.

I chose the part for my pump per suppliers information. Easy to replace and worked perfectly.
