> 3 dayThe M18 v1.0 is probably one of the best budget projectors on the market. Its picture quality is great (so much better than $100 budget projectors), its brightness is decent for most room lighting conditions, and its sound quality is good. The fans/motor noise is loud, but you tend to not notice it after a couple of weeks. Strategic projector placement and external speakers may help. Otherwise, I’m very happy with my purchase and would recommend any native 1080p projectors, and specifically M18, to any friends/family looking for a mostly enjoyable projector viewing experience. Breakdown incident - after unplugging it for the holidays (~6 days), we plugged it back in and suddenly it wouldn’t turn on. We troubleshooted with new power cord and using other outlets, but still no power (besides faint green light on power button). After communicating with customer service via email, they kindly agreed to send us a new replacement projector free of charge. We’ve had it for a week now, and things appear to be working great again. Long story short, when the projector works as expected, it’s great; when it doesn’t, JIMTAB support will help you troubleshoot and eventually take care of you properly, so it’s great then too.

> 3 dayLets start with this is a really good projector for what it costs but its not watchable in my home theatre. When I first set this up the picture was beyond awful even after adjusting the keystone and focus and I didnt expect it to be great considering the low price. I felt something was wrong with my setup and spent several hours researching before I blamed the projector. I read the digital keystone adjustment lowers the resolution so I lowered my Xbox video output to 720p and that was a huge improvement. From what I read a sharp angle will reduce the quality of the image on most projectors so Im going to fix that as my projector is hanging from a 9ft ceiling when most are 8. I have the projector in an all black room and the image is projected onto a projector screen and its almost unwatchable set at 9ft away from the screen. I think this will be a great projector for the price if its installed where I dont have to use keystone adjustment and its closer to the screen so the projected image is 75 inches or less. Im probably going to return it and get a TV or a more expensive projector. If I dont return it Ill use it for playing movies outside l. Ill update the review after reducing the angle the keystone has to adjust to. Do your research before deciding to buy a projector if you plan to use it everyday. Its not like a TV where you hang it on the wall and your done. This is a more work and higher potential enjoyment scenario. Id like to see this brand create a mid range projector Im very impressed for the money spent but I got what I paid for a budget projector. I tried adjusting it again with a flush mount and than moving it closer so the screen was 75 inches. It looked better but I wasnt feeling it. This is a good projector for the price.

Greater than one weekI wanted my first projector so I can dabble in visual projecting for artistic purposes for small projects like mural sketching and ambient illumination for artistic events, but I didnt want to spend a ton, as its not my main work tool. The projector works, is bright enough for my purposes The audio from the projector is also nice and loud, and the fan noise isnt too bothersome. But the edges do get a tad blurry when trying to focus, and of course, as other reviewers have pointed out, the brightness isnt what is described. Im giving it 5 stars because for the price and my purposes its ok. If someday I need something more professional, I will purchase one of the bigger brand names, but as in introductory tool, its great.

> 3 dayI love it, its in our family room that was barely used. We only use it for movies, really nice and clear to our semi-glossy textured wall. A little noisy but for the low investment... its ok, especially during the covid days.

> 3 dayI picked this up on a whim to see how it might perform vs. more expensive projectors. As the old adage goes - you get what you pay for! The claim that this projector somehow reaches 6,000 lumens is totally and unequivocally false. If it was that bright it would be as bright as a television (if not more so) in a suitably lit room. This one falls short. Way short. Its very dim - so dim in fact that it looks about the same as other more reputably marketed projectors that advertise 500 lumens of brightness. Compared to my decade old 720p projector that operates at 2500 lumens its night and day. So where did they get this lumen figure from? Well they likely just stuck their light meter in the lens - even when I did that with a white image I only measured about 4500 even with the upgraded version of their projector. In the real world the image youll get even at a 75 projection size is dim and low quality. I found it nearly impossible to get a clean focus. The edges are always blurry no matter how perfectly aligned the projector is to the surface. The bottom line is that this is no shortcut to quality. Youll get a projected image for a low price here price but not a good one. You do indeed get what you pay for!

> 3 dayThis is the most annoying thing I have ever dealt with in my entire life and that’s saying a lot. The audio cuts out extremely often (every 5 seconds to every 15mins) and you either have to restart your computer, switch to a different audio output & back again, or turn off the projector & back on again, and these solutions only work for a couple of seconds to a few minutes at most. I’ve only had it for a year and I’ve had this problem ever since I bought it.

Greater than one weekCould definitely use a better instruction booklet that explains how to adjust the menus on the settings. Someone starting out has really not enough information in what to do on getting the screen adjusted properly.

> 3 dayProjector picture quality is good for a 1080p projector and brightness is really clear and sharp. The built in speaker is loud enough that if you dont have the TV volume up, its enough to watch what you are with clarity. My only issue is the fan on this unit is quite loud though im not sure if its all like this or just mine but when the volume is turned up, not really noticeable.

> 3 dayI bought this thing for my home theater. It exceeded all of the expectations that I had for it. I could not be more happy with the Picture quality especially for the price. However I would recommend some sort of external audio equipment. The speaker works fine but it does not bring the whole experience together.
