The fit was perfect - Tight so that it will not fall out on its own but not excessive to the point of being difficult to remove. It fit flush in the hot shoe of my Sony a6000 (see attached photo).

Awesome hot shoe cover nice built fits nice and snug not super hard to remove but just right to protect from debris recommend this item.
